Tumagal na yung visa processing times..ang tumal ng grants for non-prio..affected ba ito dahil nagreduce yung allocations for this FY or hindi nmn dapat?..

Di ko na din maaccess yung smartvisa to check yung historical data ng grants..may bayad na, need ng premium subscription..

Nakakainip at nakakadagdag ng anxiety..lol

Parang after nila lagyan ng paywall yung filter feature, wala na masyado nag uupdate kung na grant na sila or baka talagang matumal lang yung grants. Netong month parang puro 1yr 11 mo+ yung mga naggrant dun sa smartvisa, tas last week saka nagkaron ng 1yr 6mo. Kahapon lang may lumabas na 1yr 1 mo. Sana maubos na nila yung backlog. Kawawa naman yung sobrang tagal na nag aantay.

jar0 mag-ipon po or upskill while waiting. Medyo hindi ko din nahandle maayos yung waiting time for grant haha malala din anxiety ko that time. HAHA

jar0 walang tips while waiting hahaha almost 2 yrs of waiting for grant made me a crazy person hahahahahaha lahat na ng inip sa mundo mafifeel mo. been there, done that. but as cliché as it may sound, IT WILL BE WORTH IT. PROMISE.

jar0 yup. sa isip ko kasi ang dami ko natututunan sa website na yun at kay gregor mendel for free, hindi na siguro masama yung one time payment na 20aud para sa feature na ginagamit ko. Dati kasi naka Adblocker lang ako para di ko mapindot yung mga ads haha. Kaso nga lang ngayon parang dahil sa paywall, tinamad na mag update yung mga tao. Yung iba dun parang input nila from post sa FB group.

jar0 Salamat sa info. Sana tuloy tuloy na pa-grant ng DHA hanggang umabot sa November applicants bago sila magbakasyon. Mga December batch aabangan namin January or February 2026.😆

I’m happy to share that my subclass 189 visa was granted on December 1, 2025! Yey!! Super shocked and happy! I honestly didn’t expect the process to move this quickly.

For anyone who may find it helpful, here is my full timeline:
University Lecturer (ANZSCO 24211), 85 points, Offshore, DIY
19 Dec 2024 – Submitted VETASSESS Skills Assessment requirements
23 Jan 2025 – Received VETASSESS positive assessment
22 Feb 2025 – Took PTE exam
23 Feb 2025 – Received PTE results (superior)
23 Feb 2025 – Submitted EOI for 189 (85 points, offshore)
21 Aug 2025 – Received ITA
28 Aug 2025 – Lodged visa application
1 Dec 2025 – Visa granted! TYL!!

I want to thank everyone in this forum. Your shared experiences, advice, and tips helped me throughout the process. The PTE tips posted in one of the threads here were very, very useful. Now, I will be going through the threads and guides on preparing for the big move. Thank you again to this community! Hope everyone still waiting gets their grant soooon!!
