How much it cost if your giving Birth Using Bupa

i asked this before with my Aussie colleague and she mentioned that roughly it would cost around $4,000+ to deliver a baby here in AU... and as high as $12,000+

also need to check with your Health Insurance kung meron sila yung tinatawag na "cooling period" before you can claim for the "child birth" part... usually 1 year ang cooling period nila sa child birth, as per my current health insurance din, please read the fine print for the insurance of Bupa... 🙂

Kasi po ung management fee ko sa ob 3500 delivery fee is 2500 iba paba babayaran sa baby at hospital?except pa ung mga scans and blood test?salamat ko

yup, iba pa bayad sa ospital and checkup sa GP, at mga lab tests... 🙁

ayun tama si @Captain_A, merong "waiting period" usually 1 year para sa Child Birth, tsaka sya pwede i-shoulder ng health insurance, correct me if I'm wrong po 🙂

Call and check your insurance coverage with BUPA. Di kami nagbayad sa mater private hospital (QLD) since covered ni BUPA yun pregnancy. Yun lang anesthesiologist (500) at excess (500) ang binayaran namin.

yung checkups din po hindi covered as far as I am aware po... so need din pondohan yun if ever, currently $70 yung checkup sa GP last time i checked, pwede ata humingi ng "concession" ba tawag nila, parang "tawad" ba yan in filipino terms? hehehe

Sorry, pang may medicare lang pala yun program nila sa hatch dito sa QLD. It's best to consult with a BUPA agent ng coverage mo.
