Hi guys! Finally arrived in Sydney yesterday via Cathay. We booked our tickets since June and were cancelled multiple times until I emailed Cathay that our initial entry visa date is about to expire this Dec 6 so we really need to fly out to Australia ASAP.

Anyone who booked with Cathay, you guys can email them MNL#DS@cathaypacific.com and tell them abt your situation. They do prioritised passengers with kids though. Hope this helps.

Cathay pacific po kami hehe. For now ata pahirapan humanap ng available flights. Matagal na rin kasi kaming booked kaya siguro nasecure yung seats namin for January. Di ko lang sure kung may ibang airlines pa na available. Yung cathay earliest available flight na nakita ko is for April na.

Hinahanap ko rin ang updated info regarding hotel quarantine. Nagsend na rin ako ng inquiry. As usual, generic lang din ang reply sakin. Mga url na nabasa ko na rin tapos di rin ganun kahelpful.

Kasi kami ni hubby sabay na lilipad. Same flight, same time, same date. Lahat same hehe. Magkaiba lang kami ng booking reference number. Separate transaction kasi kaya di magkasama sa isang booking ref. Hindi naman kami paghihiwalayin? Can i tell them upon arrival? I tried to contact them thru their site kaso i got a generic reply.

Do not worry about it.. ang mga pasahero naman paghihiwalayin ng bus trip papunta hotel. Kung pamilya, mag asawa, buong mag anak kayo, or buong angkan, magkakasama kayo nyan. Ask ka naman nila kung may ksama ka sa trip mo na family member.. All the best sa flight and safe trip.

Airlines din po ata ang nag iinform sa kanila ng expected number of incoming passengers. No need to book the hotel 🙂 according kay @lecia pagdating doon tatanungin ka naman kung may kasama, kung group kayo, etc. Sila na siguro bahala saang hotel ka i-quarantine upon arrival.

So far ang inasikaso ko lang yung sticker sa CFO. Tapos need lang din iprepare yung visa grant para makalabas ng pinas. Di ko lang sure sa iba kung ano pa ang hiningi sa kanila hehe
