Hi, I am Jay, 28, Civil engineer currently working in Taguig sa isang kilalang gencon company. I was emailed by mavoracontractorsaustralia.com for a job position and i was qualified po. I signed an employment agreement including salary etc. Then, sabi nila sila magpaprocess ng residence/work visa and all flight tickets, travelling expenses, will be provided. But before that para maprocess daw is I have to acquire employment eligibility and attestation letter sa attorney nila arounrawisolicitors.com and i have to pay 1370 AUD almost 48k pesos. May ganito po bang proseso or this is scam? Thanks
Hello there, I would suggest to background check the Company, I have been emailed 2 times already, from 2 different companies, although I sent a direct email through their website. Then they replied like 2 weeks after. Kakahanap ko ng mga companies sa google kaya nag direct ako sa Websites ng iba ibang companies sa Australia, they told me to send some documents like resume, diploma, pictures etc etc , then without a specific job position, they told me i'm hired, which is odd of course, then kaya medyo nag duda ako, sabi pa sa email, I have to contact this certain person kasi nga daw madami restrcitions dahil pandemic, at dahil magaling ako mag background check, at dahil parang awkward ang pictures nila sa websites, ni research ko at i found out they just took the pictures from other websites, this is a shipbuilding company, it's a real website, but the site is too simple, and even yung board members nila, kinuha lang nila sa ibang websites at social media. So hayun, ni report ko din sa Australian Fraud website , di ko na na track kung anung progress. So ingat lang din po, learn to background check, check their Linkedin accounts, employee's comments sa glassdoor, check their sites and magtanung tanung din, If your gut tells you there is something wrong, then just take a moment to investigate.
