Good day po sa inyong lahat. Magtatanong lang po ako regarding defacto relationship. I am married but with ongoing annulment case. Now I have partner and we are planning to take chances in Australia. I'm a Perioperative Nurse and he's a OSH Advisor. Both our professions are included in the SOL. We are planning that he will be the main applicant for student visa and I will be his student visa-dependent. Kung ireregister po namin ang relationship namin as defacto relationship, ano ano po ba ang mga requirements na kailangan. Kasi nagkakilala lang kame at naging couple last 2019, we are both here in Saudi Arabia so there's no way para maglive in kame dahil hindi kami kasal. No travel pictures yet because we got stuck here because of covid but planning to go home in the Philippines on April 2021. Planning to open joint bank account also. Kelan po ba ang ideal na magapply yung partner ko for student visa kung limited pa lang yung mga proof namin. Thanks
interesting case. based from what i've read:- if a person is legally married they can still be considered to be in a de facto relationship with another person they are not married to. so imo walang kaso yung may ongoing annulment case. however, proving your current defacto relationship will be a tricky one lalo na if you don't have photos, joint accounts, etc.
maybe it's better to delay your application so you can have more time to collect proof of your relationship. besides, at our current situation, pahirapan pa ang makapasok sa au dahil sa pandemic.
