Computation of Age upon EOI

Hi,

I need some help classifying something. For the computation of points for the age, is it done upon lodging of EOI or upon invitation or upon completion of documents for VISA. My conern is if I get invited at age 39 but will not be able to complete my documents on time. Example if I get invited on June but I will be 40 y/o by August and by that time I'm 40 y/o and my points for age will only be 15 instead of 25. Will my case be an issue?

@btarroja213 - hi.. the point system states:

<u><b>AGE - at the time of invitation. You can receive up to 30 points based on the age you were on the day you were invited to apply. </b></u>

Now, once invited, you have 60 days to make a valid visa application.. if you dont apply after 60 days, the inviitation will be invalid...

my question; what sort of documents do you need?

as far as i know, the documents you used for the skills assessmen (before EOI), are the same documents you will need to apply for the visa..

I guess completing all documents should be no issue within 60 days.

My question now is if the processing time for the CO to approve my visa or if my medical results will be reassessed after the time I turn 40 y/o, will my points change(reduce from 65 to 55)? If so, will my VISA be rejected due to the reduction of points?

@btarroja213 - nope.. they cannot change points after issuing invitation to apply for visa..

as mentioned, points are "at the time of invitation"

basta nakabayad kana (meaning visa lodged) wala ng pwedeng baguhin sa EOI points mo.. the decision on the visa will be based on all your documents (proof) of all the claims you made in your EOI (at the time of invitation).. plus of course your Police Clearance/Medical Report..
