Opening an AU Bank Account while in the Phil

Hi everyone!

I will migrate to AU in July. I found out that we can already open an AU bank account from the Philippines. Did you do this before leaving? Can you suggest banks na cheap or walang monthly service fees?

I found out as well that may fee din to make a transaction over the counter. Is this true? Sana hindi mahal. 😛
