Hello po, sino po nkapagwork as Secondary School Teachers sa Au? Paano po kayo kumuha ng Skills Assessment as a secondary school teacher? Ano pong mga ginawa po? Any suggestions po, kung ano mga steps na dapat gawin.. at anong documents ang kailangan na i-prepare? May chance po ba na makapagwork as a secondary school teacher sa Au? I hope makapagbigay po kayo ng suggestions, tips, based po sa experience nyo.. Kindly share po... Sana may makatulong at mkapagsuggest.. Thanks so much in advance.. God bless po.. *btw, mathematics major po ako, teaching experience is Grade 11 -Senior High School, practice teaching experience - grade 7 and grade 8 students..

Take IELTS Academic first. Once you have satisfied the requirement (at least 7 in both Listening and Speaking; at least 8 in Reading and Writing), go for your Skills assessment with AITSL, https://www.aitsl.edu.au/migrate-to-australia

Based on my research..

a Secondary School Teacher is a degree qualified to teach students aged 13-18 in secondary schools.

Assessment Criteria: applications must meet both criteria.

Criterion 1: Qualifications

completion of a min of 4 yrs full-time higher education (university) level of an Australian Bachelor degree (Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7) or higher w/c includes:

a) at least one yr full-time Secondary School Teacher initial teacher education

b) completion of at least 45 days of supervised teaching practice with students in a secondary school setting

Criterion 2: English language profciency

Option 2: IELTS Academic = 7.0 for both Reading & Writing, 8.0 for both Speaking & Listenin

Hello po sir, ask ko lang po sa former employer ko po nakapagturo po ako for 2yrs ng Junior High School ang concern ko po nabasa ko po sa AITSL na need po nila makita kung anong school setting si employer. Generic COE lang po ang binigay nila sa akin kaya plan ko po na ako na lang ang gumawa then papirmhan po sa kanila. Ngayon po yung school setting po nila ay parang di ko po mailalagay as SECONDARY SCHOOL kasi may Primary-Secondary-SeniorHigh-Tersiary po sila. All in na. Anong school setting po kaya ang dapat kong ilagay sa letter? 😅

Could you please share if your school is sponsoring teachers or if you know how to find sponsorship? I'm looking for visa sponsorship, particularly a 186 Direct Entry visa.

I have one year of experience teaching math and some science subjects in a secondary school setting in Melbourne and eight years of teaching experience in the Philippines as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher.

sorry for this very late reply, just indicate sa coe na yung school is from primary to senior high, but be specific na yung tinututuan mo is yung juniour high level, specify the age of the students and the subjects you taught.
