Hi Guys,

I open this topic pra d2 natin ibuhos lahat natin ng emotions at kaba habang naghihintay tayo ng visa..

I will share mine first.. Nung nag lodge na aq ng visa application q, ung kaba at anxiety level q ay abot hanggang langit na halos mabaliw na aq. Kasi on the first place, hndi aq confident sa application q. Wla akong working experience, 9 months pa lg aq nag wowork sa company na nagsponsor sakn, ang merun lg aq ay diploma at PRC license na hndi namn recognised d2.. But still I take the risk, wla akong choice ehh.. Kaysa umuwi aq sa Pinas na wla lg mang gnawa pra mkpagstay d2.. So sayang din ang npagsimulan ng dad q kung uuwi na lg aq.

Ung nkakalungkot pa at dat tym, kaso most of pinoys here in our place keep telling us na malabo dw na ma grant ung visa q ksi wla akong experience.. Nkakalungkot tlga, ung confident q lg ay multi national company ang nag sponsor sakn.. And my boss keep telling me, na cla na bhala mg prove sa DIAC kung bakit kailangan nla aq sa company..

So ayan na..D2 na lg muna.. Mdyo ma haba2 ksi 2 ehh.. 🙂)

wala .. as if inde kami nag apply.... mas matindi lang yung excitement after the letter that we need to have medicals ... we were sure that we got a grant

@JCsantos..Mabuti namn po kung ganun at cguro kasi po confident kayo sa qualifications nyo kya 100% sure kayo sa visa grant..

Nung 457 visa, un din ung nararamdaman q..Excited kmi nung ngpmedcal na.. Pro nung nag apply na ng PR prang mbaliw aq sa kakaisip sa application q.. 🙂

I will share our experience - at the very beginning kabadong kabado kami as we know the problem sa assessing authority ng wife ko; CPA Australia kasi is very strict with the Accounting Theory subject - maraming bumabagsak dito. To cut the story short, we gave them a very comprehensive and complete documentation of my wife's degree.

It took them a month to respond to us - when we saw that pasado si misis sa skills assessment nya and full recognition was given to her work experience, I know there and then that it is just a matter of time. In fact, nag resign na nga kami sa work namin in Singapore then even though wala pa kami visa.

While waiting for the visa, I was calm lang... I just got pissed off at the very end because the NBI screwed up on my police clearance, nawala ito when it was mailed back to Singapore so I need to request for it again...

Nov 6 was the day we got the golden email - a very good gift for me and my wife's 30th birthday and our first wedding anniversary.

It helped din that we have a very nice CO; and somehow, sa kakabasa (dito and other stuffs online) alam what to expect next in our application....

@psychoboy..Yes sakin po big thing din tlaga na very nice ung CO na humawak ng application q.. Kasi very efficient sya, lahat ng query q sinasagot nya at ang bilis mag reply.. At tinulungan pa aqong masama c hubby sa application on the last minute..

Sulit ang ilang gabing hndi aq nkatulog sa kakaisip sa visa q at sulit din ung 10 months kong paghihintay..🙂

Medyo kinakabahan. May discrepancy kasi sa EOI points claimed for work experience and ACS skills assessment ko. Hopefully, hindi ito issue. Sumabit kasi ako sa 5yrs sa EOI pero kung i-calculate from skills assessment - next month pa ako magiging 5yrs dapat. Anyways, according naman sa mga nabasa ko - EOI prevails! So antay-antay lang (na kinakabahan pa rin onti).

Atsaka atat na akong mag-resign sa trabaho ko. Siguro yun ang biggest factor kumbat di ako mapakali. I want it sooon!!!! _X(

@psychoboy ayus lang mag-quit ng work kahit on-going visa application? kaya ako nag-stay pa sa trabaho ko ngayon kasi iniisip ko baka makaapekto sa visa. kung di naman factor yun, kelangan mo pa rin bang mag-send ng change of circumstances something? magandang balita to sa kin. 8->

Ayus na ayus lang; coz we were serving pa rin naman our 2 month notice period eh... So technically kahit nag-resign na kami, we are still employee sa respective firms namin. 🙂

<b>It should not affect your application though because what DIAC will consider is your circumstances WHEN YOU APPLIED FOR YOUR VISA...</b> 🙂

Our visa was granted on Nov 3 - last day of work namin was Dec 31... 🙂

For us, at first we didnt mind. After lodging, our mind setting was to wait for 3months to do necessary followups. Honestly, hubby and i didnt know what to do and what to expect after lodging the application. We were clueless. Then after 1week we got a mail from CO asking for PCC and medical. We were shocked! Lol. Only then it started to sink in. We were given 28 days to submit requested docs. Since we are both working, we havent started getting docs right away. after a week, we went to get SG PCC and to our dismay the processing is 3weeks. We were really anxious about it as the thought of not making it in time is really not an option. Thank God, we made it to the last minute. Then the agony started... Till now we are waiting for the decision. I started reaching out to my friends in au to ask questions and they pointed this forum to me. Being here in this forum really helps me fight the anxiety of waiting. Reading visa grants everyday makes me happy. And im so thankful for the experiences and information shared as it really gives me a better picture of what to do and what to expect in Au.

@nfronda grabe nga timeline mo. kung ako yan baka di na makita mukha ko sa dami ng pimples dahil sa sobrang stress.

@jengrata..Kaya nga ehh.. Sobrang tagal, grbe ang stress q jan habang naghihintay.. Sabi ksi sa website 5-7 months processing times, at sakin sinagad ung 7 months at ngka CO. At naging sobra pa ang kaba q nung nag propose c bf at husband na ngaun ng WILL U MARRY ME?? At hndi aq nkpag NO, YES kaagd ang sagot. Sobrang kaba ung na feel q ksi on the process pa lg ang visa q..iniisip q bka maapektuhan ung visa ksi ngpkasal aq.. Kaya hndi aq mkpag prepare ng maayos sa wedding q ksi 50 50 ung isip q.. Hanggang sa prang maloka na aq sa kakaisip.

D bale worth it ung paghihintay q ksi sobrang bait ng CO at naisingit pa c hubby.

@jengrata..hahaha, nkakakilig na nakakakaba..Ksi ang dami kung negative comments na naririnig, sinsabi nla na bakit dw aq ngplan na mgpksal eh on the process pa lg ung visa q.. Sagot q, paki nyo? Nag YES na ung mum and dad q ehh.. So I take the risk on my visa in the name of love..Chos.. :x Kaya un, after kasal dun na lumabas ang mahiwagang CO q..
