" We writing to update you about flights from Manila to Australia in June. Philippine Airlines (PAL) advised that they have (limited) available seats for their flight PR5218 to Brisbane on 13 June 2021.
We expect Philippine Airlines to offer further flights to Sydney and Melbourne later in June and will advise you once this information is confirmed and flights are open for bookings. PAL has advised of flights to both Sydney and Melbourne on 11 June, but we understand that these flights are currently fully subscribed. You may like to discuss with them the possibility of placing your name on a wait-list in case seats become available.
If you are interested, please call PAL directly on +63 2 8855 8888. They are open from 7am to 9pm.
Seats are limited as the caps on international arrivals continues, especially for Sydney and Melbourne. If your preferred destination is not available, please consider an alternative destination, such as Brisbane. Once your mandatory hotel quarantine has been completed, you can make onward domestic travel home.
Alternatively, we encourage you to pursue other commercial options via travel agents and directly with airlines.
Should you have any medical or other compelling issues that require you to return to Australia urgently, please discuss this with your airline. They may be able to seek an travel exemption from the caps which may assist you with a seat. Evidence to support your exemption will be required.
Please note the Australian Embassy is not involved in these flights and cannot assist you in booking, paying or securing your seats. You will need to discuss this with your airline or travel agent.
For those Australians experiencing financial distress you may be eligible to access financial support from the Australian Government through COVID-19: Overseas financial assistance | Smartraveller package. We encourage those Australians to apply for help to get home.
