I thought I am prepared for this, pero naooverwhelm pa ko sa mga kailangang gawin befor the big move. đŸ˜‚
Please share any tips on the things you did in PH prior your big move
Ang mga inaasikaso ko na ay:
- Selling properties ( I just posted my condo for sale)
- Filing resignation and turnover of job
- Nagpaschedule na ng teeth cleaning and filling.
- Nagpaschedule na ng annual physical exam while covered pa ng current employer.
Advisable ba na sa Australia na mamili ng damit? How much ang recommended pocket money for a single person?
Hi @mau_villa, exciting big move naaa!!! congrats!
Ang biggest expense namin dito when we moved is for the appliances and furnitures. Hindi kasi furnished ang mga houses for rent. I think at least 5k for that then yung 1 mo advance for rental and 2 months bond ata yun.
If you plan to have Lasik do it in the Philippines. Uber mahal dito nun, makakauwi pa ako for that. I think 7K aud.
If you have properties or bank transactions you need to deal with later on you might want to prepare a power attorney so someone can sign it on your behalf. Hassle at magastos magpagawa ng power of attorney sa consulate then i-fedex mo pa to Ph.
If you have kids, vaccines are free here so don't bother keeping it up todate before kayo umalis. đŸ™‚
