You might want to do more reading into ACS assessment, there's a separate thread here on the site.
Quick note, based on ACS they're deducting at least 2 years (more if you're not from section 1 school) from your experience to equate you to your job role.
Since this is visa 186, a employer nominated visa. Haven't you tried contacting your employer if they have a migration agent? They might help you with the process and requirements, as they still need to nominate you before you can apply if not mistaken.
Yeah I’ve actually read it here pati on the ACS site itself tons of times over the past year, it wasn’t like I just logged in yesterday and decided I’m going to lodge a skills assessment on the spot 😂
I’ve read it and consulted with my agent, they recommended I go through with the assessment - since we were considering 189 before this. I wasn’t sure about the 186 subclass requirements kaya I asked in this forum about it. Per ACS checklist so I just need one year of Australian work experience since I finished a bachelor’s in an accredited Australian university last year 🙂 so don’t worry about whether Section 1 ang school ko or not lol.
Not sure if my employer has an agent but my line manager did offer to sponsor me, though yun nga pare parehas kaming unsure about the specifics of 186 subclass (like do they only count post grad experience) since our department hasn’t sponsored anyone before. I’ve covered the bases but posted here to be sure! 🙂
