Philippine non-prof driver's license or International driver's license

Meron na ba nakaexperience dito na magrenew ng 7 years+ expired non-prof PH driver's license? Pwede pa ba marenew kahit magpay ng penalty fee or kailangan magstart at student again?

Hi everyone, question lang regarding driving using Phils. License..

Just took the pratical exam to apply for full license in Australia while currently holding a valid Phil. license, unfortunately i failed and will do another test next month. So ang sabi sakin is im required to get an "L" license kahit valid pa yung Phil. License ko even if i just arrived here in Oz which im aware has 3 only months validity.

Now here's the catch, I understand that i have to abide by the law of getting an L license and must be accompanied by a full license holder but if i decide to still drive using Phil. License( and not display an L plate) for a month not because i want to but i have to as PART of my work. Is it too risky? I know its a silly thing to do yet again im doing because I have to.

Or can road authorities automatically find out that im driving illegally while on the road even if i wont commit any offence within a month, that i really should not be driving using Phil. License starting now.

@Hctibasefil better to abide the oz law kc ndi na yan pinas na pwede mo bayaran ang makakahuli sa yo lalo na nasa ACT ka pa yata.

@Superched ang pagkakaalam ko pag mahigit 3 yrs na yata paso ang lisensya kelanhan na magsimula uli as student. better to check sa LTO mismo.

@Hctibasefil It's too risky though yung kilala ko ganyan yung ginagawa niya.. It's up to you kung iririsk mo. Kahit na 3mos or 6 mos validity pag once na bumagsak ka, you can't drive using your Ph license. From what I've read, someone's been fined for $1600 here in Vic and was suspended for driving in 18 mos... If it were me though, I wouldn't risk it...what is a month compared to 18mos.. You've got more to lose than to gain.

Hello po.. I am currently working in SG and im planning to get license from PH then convert to SG DL then to Au.. Ask ko sana if may bearing po ba kung kakakuha ko lang ng Drivers license ko sa PH tapos papaconvert ko na agad to Sg DL? or need ko pang mag antay ng specific months or year bago mag convert.. Medyo mahal kasi ang pagkuha ng SG DL, salamat po sasagot.

Question din po sa akin. Currently I have a non-prof Philippine driver's license (OR pa din). Moving in on June 17. Ano po ba mga dapat kong i-secure from LTO here para mapabilis kumuha ng Oz na driver's license? PR po ang visa ko. Thanks!

Hi Everyone! Anyone here staying in Victoria? I just got here 2 months ago, I currently have a Student dependent visa valid til 2019. Does that mean I can drive using my PH license til 2019? Thanks in advance

@Cassey non prof ba sayu. . Plan Ko sana ipaconvert to Philippine international driving license. Valid daw is 1 year. .

@pauline Nakalagay sa VicRoads na you can use your Overseas Driver’s license during your period of stay here in Au. There’s no need to convert to if you are on a temporary visa. Hindi naman hinahanap yung international locense. Kumuha rin kami niyan pero hindi naman nagamit, yung Ph license is enough.
