Need help nman po! Nasa process na po ako ng verification for State Nomination sa ACT, may portion po sa requirements nila na..

<i>"Personal research into recent advertised positions relevant to the nominated occupation (a minimum of 5 vacancies and not more than 8).

• copy of the full advertisement. It is essential that the date of the advertisement as well as the location where the job is offered is displayed. Web links alone are not acceptable and, if provided, could result in the criterion not being met; and

Ang question ko lang po eh ano ba yang employment statement na yan? essay type ba yan na parang cover letter ang dating?

@ako_na_ang_bida mukhang bagong requirement yan, as far as I can remember that was not a requirement before for SS. In my opinion, essay type lang yan which is similar to the commitment statement that you also need to submit if you are applying for a state sponsored visa.

Hi, Newbie here.

Kaka submit ko lang ng EOI but my job is in CSOL scheduled 2 so I was not invited to apply. I recently checked ACT and it seems my work is one of the open positions (technical writer)

Just gathering papers para makapagsubmit sa ACT to ask for nomination.

Sa palagay nyo, ok ba sa Canberra? Sa ngayon, eto lang ang state na nag sponsor ng work ko e.

@bookworm - if you dont have any other options (state to sponsor you), then you dont have a choice if you really want a visa. 😉

@bookworm, I presume that you have your skill assessed already. Kasi isa sa mga requirements ng State sponsorship is the skill assessment.

Hi, Question sa mga nakatapos na po, naglodge ako ng application ko for Visa last Nov 6 pero hindi pa ko nagpapamedical. I'm thinking kasi na baka maglapse yung validity ng medical bago komabigyan ng CO. Should I undergo med test na or wait for CO? And how long should I wait for a CO to be assigned? Mag 1 month na kong waiting e. Thanks.

Hi "kabayan" nagsubmit na q ng EOI nung dec. 4 with ecaxtly 60 pts. Hehehe! I knw i have to backread kaso d ko na maalala sang discussion ko nakita yung rules on SS invite rounds pati yung kung anu mauuna...SS invite or State Sponsorponship...d p naman ako dpat mataranta na ilang days pa lang ala pa invite to apply for visa d ba?

I just wish walang mabago sa occupation list ng ACT. I'm willing to take the risk to stay here kahit wala ako kakilala dito magkavisa lang. Hehe.

Good day! Plano ko po mag-try ng state nomination sa ACT dahil nakita ko may ANZSCO 263311 (Telecommunications Engineer) dito. Kaso napansin ko na "Limited" ang status nito.

Ang explanation ay :"Nomination places are limited. Occupations must be verified before the application for nomination is lodged."

Does this mean na dapat may job offer dapat yung mga mag-aapply for "Limited" nominated occupations sa ACT Occupation List? O not necessarily meron job offer?

No need for a job offer. You just need to get your nominated occupation verified with ACT then that is the only time you can apply for state nomination.

It is like a pre-screening process. Once you get the go ahead from verification then applying for state nomination will be easy as it is basically the same documents that you will be sending them.
