Help po undecided who will be the main applicant..

Hello po sa inyo. I am a newbie here. I just need to seek advice from all of you po who already had experience/s regarding skills assessment. We just can't decide po to will be the main applicant. In your opinion po, which is malaking help para sa amin, I'll be listing down po ung qualifications nun dalawa which do you think po should do the assessment. Thank you in advance po.

P.S Sa vetasses po sna kame mgpapaassess. Both Industrial Engineering grad po kame. Hope to receive responses po.

parehas kau mag pa assess para if kaung dalawa ung ma approve u can claim for partner skills addtional 5 points..

Sa palagay ko kung sinoung my longest yrs of experience.

@2SB1 - masyadong maraming factors to consider.. start muna tayo dito

check kung sino ang papasok sa 60pts for EOI considering age, work exp, educ qual/school, IELTs..
Kung hindi pasok ang isa sa 60pts, then follow @rachelle_gan2 ' s recommendation..
Masyadong generic yung occupation na "Dept Manager".. im not sure kung meron nyan sa SOL/CSOL.. kailangan specific example "engineering manager'... please double check..
check ang minimum requirements ng assessing authority for that occupation... may mga occupation na may min years of work exp na requirement according sa grouping ng Vetassess (kung yan ang assessing body nyo)..

I checked po sa pointing system both have 60pts not claiming partner's skill.. under state sponsorship po... Pcnxa n po kau bago lang talaga.. Hnd ko p dn po kabisado ung state sponsorship. Thanks ulit sa inyo po.

@2SB1 alam mo better na rin na gamitin mo ung partner skills na 5 points kaysa State sponsorship kasi ristricted ka. u need to stay there ng 2 yrs.

Anyway, pag mag pa assess kau make sure na ung skills na pinassess mo is highly related sa skills na pinassess mo.

For example: Construction Estimator Anzsco 312114

Check mo ung jobs description ng particular skills na yan sa Anzsco Code, Dapat atleast 5 dun sa job description nya is na perform mo..The more the better.
Ung educational qualifications nyo dapat related sa pina assess nyo. Sa example ko ung highly related is Civil Engineering degree.

Un ung dapat mong tandaan pag nag pa assess kau. Check mo ung saktong assessing body para sau.

did you claim for IELTS? because you have less than 7.0 in each module, you cannot claim 10pts
for visa 190 State Sponsorhip, make sure na icheck nyo ang listing ng State Nominating List, kung meron bang mga states na mag-sponsor sa inyo (on that particular primary occupation), kung wala, then hindi pwede

sa lagay na yan equal cards kau regarding points, and you can claim partner's skills after successful assessment. i would suggest you go through the state sponsorship scheme kasi 2nd priority un after those who are employer-sponsored (i went that way last year and got visa approval 6 weeks after lodgement while ung mga independent (subclass 175 then) na naglodge 6 months ahead of me e waiting pa rin), providing nasa skills list kau ng state na gusto nyong puntahan. kaya search kau sa seek.com kung saan kau mas maraming chance na makahanap ng work. the two year obligation for state sponsored visas is not really a biggie, besides you will probably need atleast two years to really settle down and then you can decide where you really want to stay/buy a house (unless mayaman kau dyan sa pinas 😃 )

@2SB1 i have an IE degree.. Nasa mfg/quality ako nung time na nagpa assess ako.. Pero Dami din akong naging work, paiba iba from prod eng, methods, prod planning, systems analyst to mfg/quality..
