Walang nagpapaupa na di ka pa nakikita ka ng personal. Ang sistema dito kailangan makita ka ng personal at makita mo ng personal ang uupahan mo. Wala talaga nakikipag transaction sa email lang.

@macooyam when are u arriving in adelaide? kung end of this month, mag backpacker ka nalang nga muna siguro then daan ka nalang sa bahay ng landlady ko para mkita mo na rin yung room at makadecide ko whether you'll get it or not...

alternatively, if u want to view the room pa rin before u arrive... send me an email at mjdepano@gmail para i can fwd pics to u... i can also give u the address para makita mo sa google maps. another option is video call with the landlady para makilala mo rin sha while ure still in Pinas. mabait yun at maraming taga forum ang may kakilala sa kanya. usually ngsusundo pa un sa airport sa mga bagong dating na boarder... email me nlng if ever kc mas madalas ako mgcheck ng email hehe..

I don't like the sound of it.. It MUST BE A SCAM.

Better be safe than sorry.

As far as the law is concern "NEVER pay anything in advance (reservation fees, bond, whatever invented terms they use) unless you have viewed and inspect the place."

Regardless of where you see the advertisement, even if it is in realestate, gumtree, or even pinoyau. 🙂

If you are not convenient sa backpackers try to look for other "daily rate" accommodations.

Check www.booking.com will give you a good idea of the prices and location. Some people will book 3 days or less before they move to a short term accommodation. Note: Don't book at booking.com, always go to the inns actual website most of the time you can get a better rate.

good info sharing. sa mga walang kilala, maayos nga talaga na maglaan ng budget for temp motel/hostel/backpackers stay muna.. then look for the place with actual visit.. 1st option dito sa forum na ito, next option siguro yung gumtree then other sites....
