@hotshot via qantas direct booking or travel agent, either way, u still can't. SOP di ba nila, when u want to avail the excess kilos, is ask for ur passport & visa? if u've entered AU after ur visa grant date, then wala na ang priviledge as 1st time migrant. proofs are ur stamped dates on ur passport, NAIA & AU airport. i made an inquiry on qantas direct. mas mahal ang ticket sa direct kesa sa IOM, afair, mga P3k yata, basts mahal. i just don't know w/ agents.
isa pa, di ko rin alam if u're using another visa (business or whatever) to enter AU when at the same time u've been granted a PR visa already, if on ur next trip u will still be given a priviledge. IMO, logical, i think so but u will only have to tell the booking ofc that u're on a business visa & not on a PR visa, esp a PR visa is no longer stamped on the passport.
incidentally, siguro kami yata ung last batch na nagkaroon ng PR visa stamped on the passport.

i see...noted. napapaisip nga kami ng wife ko...baka mag-budget airline na lang kami. yung Scoot kasi ang mura talaga from SG to Sydney. sinubukan ko magbook online, tapos sagad ang baggage sa 40kg each at pre-book ng food....lumalabas around 900 SGD lang...dalawa na kami. then kung piliin ko din yung nice seats na maluwag leg room...papatak sa under 1.1K SGD lang. good deal na din. hehehe esep esep... 🙂
