next time na ako cuento about my trip exp on immig at NAIA & customs here in sydney. kung pikunin lang ako nagtaray ako siguro esp sa NAIA immig. wala lang ako magawa...at their mercy ang drama ko. kaya wala ng blunt statements from me. importante andito na ako.

@kenkoy, you can buy a coffeemaker here for as low as $12.00 yun nga lang hindi branded. Pero we bought water boiler for only $9 and bread toastser ($9) (home brand from K Mart), more than 2 years na sa amin e in good condition pa rin naman. If I were you, I would replace those appliances with your other belongings na mas importante sa inyo. Kung dadalhin nyo yang mga appliances nyo, you still have to buy power adapters which is around $10 each.

@psychoboy bale for may excess baggage allowance $90 (paid online) + $120 (paid at NAIA qantas). $210 in total. one of the 4 of my 23kilos weighed 28. heheh! i was not asked to pay the excess anymore. i am sure the other 3 luggages weighed more than 23. siguro natyempuhan ko ung mga mababait na staff or napuna nila ako na ultra mukhang pagod na pagod na.

@johnandjosh & @icebreaker1928 thank u for the concern. i am not worried about the power adapter for my turbo. my son has a few w/c i can use for the 2 appliances. my turbo is really impt to our nutrition & comfort. ihagis mo lang sa loob ang seasoned meat/vegies/fish, turn on the timer, bingo! may meals na kami. kanin & soup na lang. hahahah!

Ask mo lang sila if pwede, tawagan mo sila. Alam mo ba contact details nila? Basta 1 way at hindi ka pa nakakuha sa kanila alam ko pwede pa. Saka since 1st time migrants ka naman, una bansa itong Australia.

@gerrymontano totally true bro. if you don't want to go thru IOM you can book a flight in Qantas directly and they have special rates for 1st-time migrants.
