Nope, this is not required. Once you moved here in OZ, you can get one (again, not required, but for peace of mind, you should get one).

Something to do with tax din kaya need to take out private cover although income tested din yun. Di ko pa din maintindahan talaga ng maayos actually. Tamang, you'll get a penalty for every year you turned 31 without private health cover but I guess sa case natin, that will start from the date we get the PR visa. Pero yun nga, I still need to understand it more. We're thinking of just getting Emergency Ambulance cover and maybe some extras (dental) once PR na.

hello..im about to pay for the visa of my hubby and it will cost me around 3520Aud..Nagtaka lng kasi ako sa website if I use the estimator ang lumalabas in peso is Php144000. But sabi naman they will use the existing current rate which is much lower kasi mababa dollar now. Medyo na confuse lng ako. Also, would it be better if I use credit card ba or ung mastercard debit? As of now my only option is the mastercard debit (metrobank) but if ok ang cc gawan ko nlng ng paraan.. thanks

Hi All,

Im new on thia thread. Was looking for information abt 496. Just to share, i applied as well in Aug 2007 and i got my Co last end Feb. Request for Medical, Police clearance, english doc for my husband and add'l document for my brother since he's included in our application due 28 days after receipt of notice.

I sent form 1022 regarding change of circumstances ( new born)- after 1 wk i received a request for medical of my new born.

Hopefully we can complete all documents in time.

Just like to check, from reading the prior post after submitting the documents normal waiting time is around 3-6 months more?

Yes i applied thru a migration agent, I am August 30, 2007...

bago lang po ako ditto sa forum na ito ask ko lang po kung na grant na ang visa (primary and secondary). kung mag eentry na po sa aussie both primary and secondary pwede po bang lumabas ng aus ang secondary and comeback anytime. please advise po
