Re Form 80... wala kasi yun sa document checklist per Border website pero nakita ko nga din sa ImmiAccount. Palagay ko kasi para sa ibang applicants yun ng Bridging Visa. Question, ano sinagot nyo sa Question 28: Are you applying for a Temporary Visa?

In my case, i submitted form 80 when i applied for the temporary visa...and submitted again an updated one for the 887 visa.Some CO requires form 80 even though it is not listed in the standard requirements. To avoid CO contact that could lengthen processing time, i just provided the form..For Q28, my answer is NO coz the 887 visa you are applying is already a permanent type visa

Yes, submitted Form 80 for visa 496 palang. Nung fini-fill-in ko kasi yung Form 80 and got to Q28, weird dahil you are directed back to Part 1. May kilala ka on a Bridging Visa for PR at ni-request-an pa ng Form 80?

@hard2handle may kilala ako 475 visa nung nag-apply sila ng 887 nag request yung co ng form 80 for all the applicants na over 18 years old.

@Joselito no need. Went home last december travel tax lang hanapin and don't forget to have a print out of your visa minsan hinahanap sa final check.

Update lang sa mga batchmates. Waiting game narin kami...Attached all docs and received na by the Department. Akala ko may "submit" pa to finally send all once everything is attached, wala na pala.

You can go to centrelink website and you can check what benefits you can claim

I just lodged my PR 887 application today. Waiting game begins. Pero di pa ako nag-attach ng Form 80 but I will try to upload Form 80 within this week.

Yes..it is stated in the bridging visa that you can now enrol in medicare/centrelink..your bridging visa is generated automatically once you submit your 887 visa...medicare will usually issue an interim medicare card valid for 1 year( kasi nga di pa approved ang pr visa) then just renew it once nagexpire with the PR visa grant..though walang difference in terms of benefits

Nabasa nyo ba yung grant notice? Tama ba yung intindi ko na hindi pa effective yung bridging visa until hindi pa nagexpire yung current visa natin, so technically 496 pa din tyo kahit may bridging visa grant na (mali ba intindi ko?) were you able to check vevo about the status of the visa?

Wala din sa acknowledgement letter ung sa medicare pero nagpunta padin kami s medicare dala yng bridging visa copy and na grant naman kami ng interim card.
