CHANGE OF MARITAL STATUS AFTER LODGING OF VISA

Hello po! My aunt from Perth sponsored me a Visitor Visa (lodged) on June 27th, 2022. Until now, September 7th, my application is still on Further Assessment level. I got married through a civil wedding last September 1st. Since my visa is still not approved and Single pa ako nung time na nalodge ang visa, is there a need to update my visa application ngayon? Or that won't matter na?

It would matter if your u claimed points for being single. Pag nabasawan points mo magkakaroon ng discrepancies sa claims mo na single ka. Bababa score mo. Check with a migration agent.

It would matter if your u claimed points for being single. Pag nabasawan points mo magkakaroon ng discrepancies sa claims mo na single ka. Bababa score mo. Check with a migration agent.

Hi! Thank you for your answer po. I'm not sure what you mean po sa score. I am only applying for a Visitor/Tourist Visa lang po eh. May scoring din po doon? 🙂

Ohhh i see. If tourists visa baka okay lng. U just need to declare it sa Immiaccount as change of circumstances siguro

Hello po! Sa mga nag-aapply po with a de facto partner, may part po ba ng process that you have to prove your relationship? Would you know ano po ang mga documents/proof na hinihingi nila during the visa application? 🙂

(background: I received the invitation (from VIC) and currently filling out the visa application on immi-account)
