realisations after BM? yung feeling na wala na talaga ako sa pilipinas. minsan hinahanap ko pa din yung ingay ng kalsada, yung mga nagbebenta sa tabi tabi, yung dami ng tao lalo na sa gabi, nakakamiss pala talaga. pero pag binabalikan ko kung pano ako nagstart sa migration journey, I'm reminded that I deserve to live here in AU. ganito pala ang quality life!

speaking of paghahanap ng work, 100% TUMPAK ka dyan! kung ano ano na din nga inapplyan ko eh hahaha. di na din ako choosy sa work ko now, pero if given a chance gusto ko lumipat hahaha pero ayun nga, hirap maghanap ng work. lalo na dami na nila inoffshore na roles.

Hi Guys! Kamusta kayo? ^^
Gusto ko lang muling humingi ng payo hehe nagBM na kami dito sa Perth last March. I'm still WFH but my husband started applying for jobs na dito for a month pero ang tumal talaga. Wala pa kahit isang interview, puro rejection email na syempre need nila my local experience daw.
We're now thinking if need na talaga magupskill, getting Certificate IV dito Baka sakaling mapansin na application nya.
We know there is no guarantee but just wanted to know the experience of others na nag-aral ulit dito if it improved their job application when they got the cert?
Btw, Quantity Surveyor kami both pero Contracts Administrator Certificate IV ang plan namin na course.

Zion CA pathway is a nice career - para din siyang mini PM.

Maganda bigayan pag tinignan mo job portals.
Maganda yung CA na cert tpos may chance mag work sa mga firms (dun ka makakuha local exp at baka ma absorb).

Try updating your CV for local use. Try to add pictures sa projects na involved. Make sure ATS friendly.

Get a short but sweet cover letter highlighting your application (THEY READ THIS!!!).

Prepare spiels for simple questions pag tumawag head hunter or any company. (Discovery call).

What is your exp

Make sure to always link overseas exp to their requirement. Tell them that those can be transferred/ same lang sa hinahanap nila.

Show youe personality with grit and persistence / can do.

Just try all and pray. Kailangan lang maikalso mo paa mo sa pinto nila. Next jobhunt will not be like this.

4+ years of experience in a cyber security engineering or equivalent role.
Proficiency working with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
Solid working knowledge of cloud security and posture management.
Comfortable working alongside developers and DevOps engineers, with a strong working understanding of how modern software gets built, shipped and run.
Hands-on experience with code security and embedding security into CI/CD pipelines, code scanning and dependency analysis.
A genuine interest in AI and how to secure it. You do not need to be an AI expert, but you should be motivated to work on it.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent qualification.
Recognised cyber security or cloud security certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
Exposure to ISO, APRA or CDR frameworks is an advantage.

whimpee thanks dito, you mean quote nila is with cost loading with LHC? Sa akin kasi nalaman ko na lang na eligible pla kami to waive the LHC loading ,6 months after sign up haha , marefund ko kaya or offset nalang nila sa next payment premium ,base sa customer service ni insurer marerefund nila yung overcharge.

whimpee ganito din naging outcome na sa amin, inoffset yung premium payments sa future coverage and got us covered for the next 50 days and nireflect ang premium without the LHC loading. Yay!
