Hello po.
Mag ask lang po if need ko ideclare and gold jewelries, unused shoes and bags and perfumes sa Australia?
If unsure, declare. But I was wearing gold jewelry and brought unused clothing flying into Australia and no problem naman. These are for personal use so should not be a problem. You'll see everything you need to declare sa arrival card. Kapag di ka sure, declare mo na lang. Wag matakot, kasi iinspect lang naman nila yan. Fines apply only if you don't declare.
Also if may dala kayong medicines or wooden items (I did) you might be asked to stand in line at aamuyin kayo ng sniffer dog.
You must declare this. Itataktak nila yung pamaypay sa border control, and napansin nila may nakatagong insects doon. So wag na kayo magdala ng ganito.
Even you purchase your hat na may made of plant material, still you need to declare it upon re-entry to Australia.
Totoo to. Yong video nga ng isang Migration lawyer sa Australia na she purchased her hat sa Australia. She went overseas for a vacation. Di niya na declare pagbalik kase she purchased it sa Australia. Na call out siya ng border officer. Much better na declare nalang.
I’m not sure lang, 3 years ago sa Sydney, I brought canned goods, pwedi pa magdala canned goods pero dineclare ko. Advised ng friend ko kakauwi lang galing Pinas na wag na magdala kase kasabayan niya naipit sa border force. I’m not sure tho if na declare or whatnot.
Pati yong sapatos na may soil deniclare ko din to make sure lang to avoid fines. Up to them naman if they will allow it or not.
Check niyo na lang yung Border Force list ng pwede or di pwede: https://www.abf.gov.au/entering-and-leaving-australia/can-you-bring-it-in Nakalagay naman if need to declare or not. And note nyo mga bagay na dadalhin niyo, kung may wood ba or shell, mga ganun. And then declare it. Don't fear declaration, 'di kayo mapapagalitan. They're just doing it for biosecurity.
I also met a Filipina who once brought in dried fish, daing. Dineclare nya to (indicated sa arrival form ang need to declare fish, meat, etc) and nagtaka mga officers daw. They know it as "smoked fish" sa Aus, pinapasok naman. Just declare.
Nakita ko rin dun binubusisi talaga mga dalang shells. Wag na kayo magdala, ang hassle 😂
