Hi, has anyone tried to bring AUD cash that is more than 10k going to Australia? From what I've read we need to declare but did the officers request for any supporting documents like bank statements, receipts etc?

Yes, you need to declare it . We weren’t asked for supporting documents; we simply stated it was from our savings. There’s a form you need to fill out online, but we did it at the airport when we arrived (here’s the link: https://www.austrac.gov.au/individuals/moving-money-across-international-borders) However, it’s a good practice to prepare documents like bank statements, money changer receipts, salary, etc. just in case. Officers might ask for these to verify the source of the funds and ensure they are legitimate.

No neeed to do it immediately. Usually Immi will request for an update after 3 months pa.

Hello guys. Medyo na-stress po ako. May nabasa ako na dapat daw may middle name yun PTE result? nakapagtake / pinagtake ako ng PTE last 2022 kahit walang middle name, kaya yun result ko wala rin middle name. Magkaka-issue ba 'to sa grant? Meron ba nakapagBM na na wala rin middle name sa PTE result nila?

Ni-raise ko na 'tong concern ko sa Pearson. Hopefully ma-update nila yun name ko sa test result soon.

I asked my agent about this and I was told na wala dapat issue and if they would inquire, mabilis naman daw iprove na same person yun. Bilang makukit, pina-add ko pa rin kay Pearson. Meron sila form for that.

Our 491grant letter states to update immi account within 14 days upon arrival so nagupdate ako ng phone number and residence. Follow nlng po ung nkalagay sa grant letter.

Try to email rin yun sa CFO, they might be able to confirm this. Madami naman nagsasabi di required ang OEC pero yun nga, para less hassle at stress on the day of your trip, at least may nakaready kana. Much better na siguro yun kesa makipagtalo ka pa sa IO at di makaalis.

Hi everyone.
Just to update:
-emailed poea. No reply.
-emailed DMW. Was asked to email CFO.
-emailed CFO. Was asked to email DMW.
-emailed CFO that DMW asked to email them (CFO).
-CFO replied with email:
“Please be informed that the said visa is not required to undergo the process of the CFO. The CFO only registers permanent resident visas.”
Note that in my email I had requested for a formal letter but none was given so will just have to print and bring this email along on my flight day.

Hi update lng po. Dinala ko po lahat ng email from CFO and DMW sa flight day. Went early as recommended para maka punta sa DMW sa airport terminal 3 (yes na sa dulo, left side). Asked them for documentation Pero sabi ng babae- puntahan ko lng cla kung at kung magka problema lng sa immi officer. So nung turn na namin sa immi officer, expecting the worst na ako. As expected, few minutes nya tinignan ung visa grant sabay sabi- May iba ba kayong mga papales? So dito ko binigay ung mga printed emails. Binasa nya and then chop chop chop na.
Long story short, if 491 visa kayo, mag email sa CFO and DMW ng proof na Hindi kelngn ng OEC and to attend PDOS etc.

pagdating nmn sa Australia, no problem sa immi officer- passport lng binigay nmin sa counter. May form ka fifillup before arriving about stuff to declare- just be honest po- no right or wrong answer if unsure. Like kame, nag yes kame sa medication ng Anak namin for allergic rhinitis nya and gout ng asawa ko- nothing serious. Nung nka pila kame sa customs- kinonfirm lng ng officer na yun lng, tapos hndi na nya chi neck ung sandamukal na luggage namin. Derecho kame sa fast lane palabas ng airport. Pays to be honest po tlga.

Yun lng po share ko for now. Hope makatulong.

But for the price, I think it gives you peace of mind that you already have a place to stay on the day you arrive. They also arrange for transpo from airport and you can also have the some furniture delivered na kagad prior to arrival (Limited to mattress, appliances, linen etc.)

Other than it makes the move easier for us, we might avail of them because we have a dog that we'll bring to AU so that's an additional limitation for us.

Ah almost same quote din we got from the agents. May mga nashortlist na kami na agents so once siguro feel namin malapit na ung grant we’ll start doing the paperwork na. We’re planning to hire an agent from SG then dun muna siya magstay atleast 6 months.

I hope you’ll be able to move with your dogs! Hindi namin maiwan so kelangan gawan ng paraan huhu mas mahal pa kesa sa visa lol

hi po, not sure if you can do this with AUSPOST, i do have a registered Parcel Locker there, hopefully you can also register with them and find out if you can do the cards delivered that way
