hi kapwa 491. im here na sa Au, going 8months. kamusta so far? sometimes i feel anxious sa future ng 491 visa.. un uncertainty ng 191. its a long way to go.. sometimes nkkfeel ako ng regret na sana I waited a bit more sa 189.
anyway, ito un will ni Lord.
nakaktakot lng minsan na sana masusustain un work for three years, and wlang problema healthwise..
wla nmn question, i just feel frustrated sometimes.. but I find comfort when I remind myself that God didnt give it to me (us) na hindi kakayanin..
so i guess, its just me saying, if you are struggling.. you are not alone.
lets count our blessings!
Curious lang ako. Saan ka located and what is triggering your anxiety? Is it because wala masyadong jobs where you are?
I came over on a 489 visa and while wala itong income requirement, ang worry ko dati is whether or not makakahanap ako ng trabaho in a small city. Nakakuha naman and covid has also improved the number of job opportunities for office-based occupations because employers are now willing to hire remote staff.
You might want to look at things from a different perspective. $53,900 is considered low income in Australia, kaya nga tinaasan na yung TSMIT for 482 visa holders. If you cannot meet the $53,900 income requirement, the main issue won't be na hindi makakaapply for 191. I think the main issue would be, how will you survive on an even lower income regardless of what visa you're holding?
That being said, pag ginipit talaga a combination of 2 part-time jobs should help with the income requirement. You'd be surprised at how much some jobs actually pay. Yung mga hindi natin kinoconsider na jobs initially. Although I understand na job availability is really dependent on the location. Some regional areas have more opportunities than others.
