HEALTH UNDERTAKING compliance in Australia

Hi everyone, this topic is just to share experience for those applicants with health undertaking condition sa visa.

History :

2019, I was diagnosed with latent TB on my medical exams for my visa application. I had to medicate for 6 months then sputum clear for two months. After that naclear na medical ko, unfortunately due to covid, nag expired ung medical so i had to redo it last year. Awa ng Diyos, na clear ako sa medical. But I had to sign the Form 815, health undertaking which means, they will grant your visa provided you will be under observation for 3 years here in Australia.

Fast forward to now:

Migrated last January 11, as part of the condition sa form 815, you need to inform Bupa that you have arrived in Australia. You need to guve them your address, email and phone number. It took them 9days to respond na natanggap na nila ung email mo. So okay na.

March 2023:

BUPA emailed me that I need to go to any clinic near me na covered ng Bupa. For me malapit kami sa Blacktown hospital so I will be there tomorrow. If u have medicare libre lahat, kung wala naman u need to inform the hospital na ung Bupa ang magbabayad ng bills mo.

Update 2023 March:

Went to Blacktown Hospital for my Chest Xray. Okay naman guys super bilis and walang bayad. After 3 months kokontakin ako if may findings or more examinations required.

Ill update this from time to time para ma guide kayu sa case na may health undertaking. You have to do this kasi conditto sa visa niyo. Failure to do so will be a reason for visa cancellation.

Hello po. About sa Medicare po. I am holding visa 491 at nauna ako pumunta dito sa Aus. My husband and son will follow in few months. Can I apply on Medicare first and add them later on when they arrive here? Or do I have to wait for them to arrive before mag enrol kami lahat? Nasa form din kasi yung date of arrival nila so d ko pa cla masasali in case mag enrol ako

Hi maam, may I ask ano pong email ng bupa? I tried yung site address na nakalagay sa form 815 pero nag eerror 🙁

Hindi ko actually makita yung website na yan sa immi website. Nakita ko yan dito kasi NSW ako tumira. Dito ko nakita yung email na yan.

When contacting BUPA Medical Visa Services, the following details should be provided: full name, HAP ID (located at the top right corner of the 815 form), date of birth, date of arrival, current address, phone number, email contact and if an interpreter will be required at medical appointments.

If the person has any plans to depart Australia in the next six months, notify BUPA Medical Visa Services of the date of departure.

Hello, question lang. Regarding sa Form 815, yung anak ko kasi ang nag undergo ng medication for Tb. Details ko pa dn ba need ilagay dun sa form or just the signature?

"Should you agree to abide by the health undertaking, you

should sign this form and return it to the Department of

Home Affairs (the Department) office processing your visa

application.

If the applicant is a minor under 16 years of age then a parent

or guardian should sign form 815.

You will then be provided with a copy of this form. Please

keep the copy as you will need it when you contact the Health

Undertaking Service after you arrive in Australia."

Sa amin po inabot pa ng 1 month and 1 week after ng Form 815 :smile:

Nung sa amin, nagstart na ako magpack after ng S56 letter. Then pagkareceive ng grant pinapick up ko na rin balikbayan box ko. Di rin namalayan ang araw kasi busy sa pagligpit ng gamit :smile:

Nung na CO kami ng Aug 2022 sinabay namin yung health undertaking ko sa mga docs. Nagrant kami ng November.

Thank you po sa detailed info. Paano po kayo nag apply ng medicare? Baka po kase wala pa akong medicate pagdating sa AU kase 2weeks lang plan namin for 1st entry. Pag wala pong medicare, automatic po ba na BUPA ang magbabayad kapag PR visa (ex. VIC 190) ang hawak or may extra step pa po na need gawin?

It took us 5 weeks to get our medicare. So kung two weeks lang kayu baka nakaalis na kayu bago niyo makuha ung medicare and card. Not sure kung panu mapapadala sa inyo yung card if nasa overseas kayu. If two weeks lang kayu dito, better to write the Bupa now to ask if you need to inform them your addresses and contacts kung di pa naman kayu for good. Kasi mejo mabagal sila magreply. Around two weeks so paalia narin kayu kung magrereply sila. Write them a letter muna ngayun.
