Nagask kasi ako today eh sa japanese officer dto if okay lang na yang mga nasubmit mo ang ipresent ko as proof for a request. Pero unfortunately hindi daw nila tinatanggap only Letter from Australia government.
Same in my case, for Visa 186 hindi pinapakita specifically yung Japan dun sa Character Document/History part. I did try to go to Japan Embassy last month but they insist for the DHA letter of request (Japan Police Clearance request letter).
Sa case ko, I'm waiting for nomination approval and possible feedback from CO. My agent also told me that we just have to wait for the case officer.
Nanghihinayang lang din ako sa oras na maghihintay since 2-3months ang lead time ng JPCC, but looks like ganun talaga mangyayari.
As for @Busy_book , you can lodge your Visa and you will not be required with police checks.

Same tayo nakakapanghinayang ang 2-3 months na lead time eh hehe...in which dapat nauuna na natin magawa hehe...pero ayun nga lets just trust the process cguro 🙂
Yes, SC 186 DE din ako and my agent lodged both employer nomination and our visa application within the same day. After lodging, we are asked for medical and Ph police clearance.
may mga nababasa ako na same cases din at yung nomination at visa application ay halos sabay na na-aapprove. may iba naman na 1month after nomination approval yung visa approval.
Medyo sa case kase natin, we are waiting for CO if bibigyan tayo ng request letter para sa Japan police clearance certificate. Ito din sinabi ng agent na we just have to wait for CO.
Update ko dito kung ano man maging progress.
