Student Visa 500 and lodging EOI for Visa 190 and 491

Hi all, i am in a bit of a situation here. Sorry na agad sa madaming tanong.

I am currently on Student Visa SC500 taking up a PR pathway course in teaching, went to Australia to study for 1 sem, and filed for a leave of absence sa school ko for a 9months dahil sa family issues. Pumayag naman ang school ko at binigyan ako ng new COE with a recommencement date for next yr and extending my studies for another 4months, to July 2025. Umuwi ako ng Pilipinas para asikasuhin na ang mga issues ko.

Q1. Kailangan ko bang iinform ang Immigration para magmatch ung new dates ng COE ko sa visa validity? Plan ko kasi pagbalik ko dun next yr, mag take ng summer and winter classes at mgextra load sa regular sems para macompensate ung 1 full sem na leave ko, kaya ayoko na iextend sana ung visa validity at same pa rin ang date, march2025.

Q2. Magkaka problema kaya ako sa flight ko pagbalik ko dun ng February 2024?

When i started studying there, naencourage ako ng isa pang student dun na magpa assess ng skills kasi may 13yrs solid experience ako sa job ko sa project management. I was convinced kaai akala ko walang PR sa mga nasa management, kung mas mapapabilis itong path na ito to PR, mas maganda, less gastos pa kesa magtuition ako nv 500k per sem sa masteral ko. So i filed sa VETASSESS for a full skills assessment for the role 511112 Project Administrator and completed all the requirements, onshore ang filing ko.

Just yesterday (5months from filing), i got a Positive result deeming me skilled for 9.3years, which is equal to 15points. Naglodge agad ako ng EOI for visa 190 (90pts) and 491 (100pts). I chose ANY state para maging available sa lahat ng states ung EOI ko.

Q3. How long does it take to get a feedback sa EOI?

Q4. If i am lucky to get an invitation, ano ang ilalagay ko sa location? Onshore ba dahil may existing Student visa ako? Or offshore dahil naka leave ako at ngayon nasa Pinas. I still have 7-8months before my classes start in March2024.

Q5. If i really get lucky at magtuloy tuloy na sa visa processing, magkakaproblema ba ako kung may existing visa na student? dapat ko bang i-cancel ang existing visa ko and withdraw from my studies? Safety net ko kasi ung Visa 500 ko kapag sakaling di ako makakuha ng skilled, kaya i want to cancel it as far away into the process as possible.

Q3. It's best to have a separate EOI per state & some states actually require an EOI that is specific to them. You need to check the website of each state to find out if your occupation is in the list of occupations that they nominate & if you meet their eligibility criteria for nomination. Note that most states haven't updated their criteria for the new financial year yet.

Q4. You're physically offshore right now & immigration will see that when they check your visa details, so you should put offshore.

Q5. If you're onshore when you get invited, you will need to comply with the requirements of whatever visa you are holding at that time. Kung naka student visa ka you have to continue with your classes until your new visa is granted or until the bridging visa takes effect, whichever comes first.

Para maclaim ang 15 pts experience... For the last 10 years na nailodge mo ang EOI merong 8 years na credited yung experience mo.

EOI - 22 July 2023

So within the range 22 July 2013 - 22 July 2023 (Accredited ang experience mo and at least naka 8 years ka). Baka kasi magoverclaim ka... kaya makesure pasok nga kasi kung patigil tigil ka sa work mo. Unless di ka patigil tigil.

Kung ano present location mo yun ang ilalagay mo sa EOI. Pag lumipat ka ng address, iupdate mo rin ang EOI mo, pagkalodge, nainvite. etc.

Q3. Noted on this. I changed my EOI for 190/491 ANY STATE to 190/491 NSW.

Q4. Noted. So kapag andito pa ako sa Pinas at makareceive ng invitation, then it's OFFSHORE.

Q5. Noted if onshore. What If i get invited by NSW while offshore? Need ko pa bang icancel ang Student visa ko and withdraw from my studies in Victoria before i start the visa process?

Noted on this. According sa assessment, deemed skilled ako from Feb2013 til jun2022 total 9.3yrs.. So kung nag file ako ng EOI ng July2023, may 9yrs ako na pde iclaim. Un ba ang counting mula sa date ng lodging ko ng EOI?

from EOI lodging ah hindi visa lodgment date back track ka for the last 10 years
