jmcounters I was invited last Nov 30, no partner. Sabi din noon mataas priority sa may skilled partner pero I was luckily invited at 90 points. Maybe there's something else. It's hard to tell.

lack14 FYI I didn’t know until now na they used to prioritise offshore applicants? Source: https://www.immigrationhotspot.com.au/blog/breaking-news-australian-government-unveils-bold-changes-to-skilled-visa-processing-ministerial-direction-no-105-takes-effect/

I think end of day, it’s all about the higher/highest points pa din. Regional sponsorship is so seamless now though. I know 2 who were invited quickly in NT and SA regional after the system overhaul.

It is good to hear that it is now getting the limelight, but that remains a heated debate about whether this is a good alternative pathway for prospective applicants as there is this loophole that errant employers doing sub-par with employees under these sponsorships more so underpaying in exchange seen as a favour. Is it still happening?
lack14 Not that I’m aware of but won’t be surprised if it still is, especially sa mga walang contracts or unclear agreement. My friends had decent pay, with relocation allowance and subsidised housing on top of their sponsorship. Pero malalayo talaga.

May I know also the requirements for my baby. Thank you in advance!

May I know also the requirements for my baby. Thank you in advance! The baby needs to have a visa to be in Australia. If the baby is currently in Australia and derechong 189 visa application sya, he won't have a visa until the 189 is granted. Magiging illegal resident sya. So you need to add him to your 408 visa for him to stay in the country.
JB26 Thank you @maguero Noted po, yes onshore po si baby. May idea po kayo regarding requirements ng baby for 189 kung sakali? Thank you!
JB26 Any idea po kung paano ma- add si baby sa current visa namin COVID 408 visa? Since inalis na po ang covid visa last september. Thank you!

Please check this link fr DoHA: He will get the same visa as one of you had held at the time of birth and the same expiry date as yours May info how to get AU gov’t notified : https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/change-in-situation/had-a-baby
JB26 Thank you so much @Ozdrims does it mean that I need to wait for my baby to be granted with 408 visa prior applying for 189? Since that we are only given 60 days to apply for it. Thank you!

Thank you! You can add the baby too with 189 ,consider it as an interim as he has to have a visa for the baby to stay in AU legally. You need to inform AU asap.
JB26 I’ve seen the link and we need to fill- out form1022. Do you idea where we can upload the form in the immiaccount? As I can’t find in any options.
