QLD
Skilled Workers living and working in Queensland are eligible for Subclass 190 and 491
Subclass 190: Minimum 75 points for 190 (70 for trades) and must have been working in nominated (or close) occupation for minimum 3 months and should have evidence of further 12 months of ongoing employment (from EOI lodgement).
Subclass 491: Minimum 65 points and must be working regional Queensland in nominated (or close) occupation and should have evidence of further 6 months of ongoing employment (from EOI lodgement).
Queensland Graduates living and working in Queensland are eligible for Subclass 190 and 491
Minimum 75 points for 190 and 65 points for 491 nomination required. Must have completed 100% of studies in QLD and graduated in last 2 years. Must be living in regional QLD for 491 nomination. More details available here.
OFFSHORE candidates are Eligible for Subclass 491 + 190
Minimum 75 points for 190 (70 for trades) and 65 points for 491 nomination required. Must be employed in nominated occupation when invited. Minimum work experience required is FOUR YEARS.

Experienced candidates with Superior/Proficient English and Skilled Partners are priortised for Subclass 190. Salary in skilled occupation plays a strong role in selection. Onshore applicants must be living and working in regional VIC to be eligible for 491 nomination.
Priority sectors for 190 and 491 include: Health, Social Services, ICT, Early Childhood, Primary ,Secondary and Special Education Teachers, Advanced Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Renewable Energy. Hospitality and Tourism is a priority sector for 491 only.
