Pero seriously, @MidnightPanda12 take a chance with QLD. Nakita ko sa isang fb group under same job group (agri tama?) na nainvite and granted 491. Saka na isipin yung settlement funds etc. If it's for you the universe will conspire.

In the case of invites we don't know in one or two rounds the allocations will deplete that fast ,even for VIC and NSW na madami pa sa tally last January almost gone na. Is like a funnel and lottery whichever comes first at 190/491 is almost always fine naman. Baka kasi by the time 190 runs out ,491 also runs out. Is best to cast your net wider to get one than not hold any.

I might send an EOI too with QLD. Tbh I agree with you guys, even though ultimate plan talaga for now is makapag AU that doesn’t mean na wala na tayo back up plan.

I am thinking of furthering my qualifications by doing an open uni course sa UP. I know it might seem worthless if nasa AU na ako but I need a backup plan. And that is to have a more successful career here in the PH.

I’m also on track to becoming a supervisor in my current company. So while I’m waiting my turn to be invited I will keep on padding up my qualifications para di man agad mainvite makapag ipon naman ng pang pocket money. Haha.

Backup backup plan is mag AFAM na lang din. Jk. Magpakuha na lang sa kapatid na soon baka makapagsponsor ng relatives sa ibang bansa. Super tagal pa nito maging reality but still a plan.

I know that we can make it on our own, and we will have our turn to have our own spotlight, a golden email or doing the big move. For now even though yung hope is running low, I will still keep it. Heck, nagawa ko na yung documentation part. Maghihintay na lang. But daamn, is it the hardest to wait for something that isn’t a 100% possibility.

in my case, i only submitted sa 189 and 190 (NSW lang). thank G, i luckily got invited.

but of course, the plan b was to take NAATI and broaden my chances by applying to all available visas and states. there should always be plan b. max out your points, kung hindi pa.

gets ko yung hesitation. kung may laban naman yung points and anzsco mo, and you still have plenty of time, meaning you have the luxury to wait, id say wait. but know until when to wait, coz time will not always be your friend. wishing you all the best! invite dust coming your way ✨✨✨

Nung nag Medical kasi kami ng partner ko, halos lahat nang kausaup ko dun puro 482(temporary Skill Shortage visa). Sobrang bilis ng processing time! Yung iba mga kausap ko feb lang nag submit ng mga requirements dun sa agency tas interview, tapos last week nag medical na kasi mag invite na cla. Chineck ko processing time ng 482 after lodge, less than 3 months lang, compared to 190/491 na 8-13 months. Also, may path din yung 482 for PR. Kung nalaman ko lang yung 482 na visa na to almost 2 years ago, nag ganun nalang sana ako 😐

Hello, may I know your ANSCO code po and how many points when you got invited for 190 (NSW)? Kasi nung chineck ko yung sakin (Systems Administrator) walang shortage for that occupation, kahit ata maka-90 points ako, baka di ako mainvite 🙁

which state? pa-superior ka na. may mga states kasi na prefer nila superior english. skilled partner yung 10 mo?

Nagcocollect pa lang ako ng documents, kahit saang state wala naman ako prefer. Yes skilled yung partner ko, Software Tester siya. Bale magpapa-assess pa lang ako sa ACS, I'm confused which occupation to choose. System Admin talaga yung work ko pero nung chineck ko yung ANZSCO, same naman yung tasks ng System Admin at ICT Security Specialist. Pero yung description not the same. Parang ok rin yung ICT Security Specialist kasi pasok sa 189 visa. Then meron akong mga skills na pasok rin sa ICT Support Engineer na role. Any advice po? 🙁

this is where you strategize. check mo yung mga recent invites. whatever anzsco you end up with, make sure you can support your claims to get a positive skills assessment.

ACS will launch a new application process this month, you can nominate up to 3 anzsco!!!

Yes, our agent submitted EOIs for both 190 and 491 visas across all eligible states. Initially, we were only planning for the 190 VIC and avoiding the 491, but our agent advised against putting all our eggs in one basket, especially with the reduced quota this year and the highly competitive environment. True enough, we received an invitation from NSW for the 190 visa. Although the 491 visa doesn’t immediately grant Permanent Residency status, it certainly opens a pathway toward Australia PR, with nearly all the benefits enjoyed by PR holders. I would suggest considering applying for all eligible states and the 491 visa to increase your chances of securing an invitation. Hope you get an invite soon!
