Once granted you are ineligible to apply another substantial visa without holding 491 for 3 years. On the contrary it makes you eligible to apply for a 191 after 3 nos.of notice of assessments of tax filed.

Hello. Another curious question here. Not sure if I already asked this before but I already lodged my EOI for both 190 and 491 weeks ago and now waiting for nominations na lang. My dilemma is that my employer is also keen to apply a 482 visa (working visa) for me. Is it ok to retain my lodged EOI's while concurrently processing my 482? Will there any conflicts? Another thing that adds complication to this is that my employer wanted my skills occupation to be that of a higher occupation with different assessing body (AACA) but I was already assessed by Vetassess on a different and lower-tiered occupation. Is it ideal to just maintain one transaction and cancel the other? I am leaning more towards the PR visa. The working visa, although considerable, is less enticing for me tbh. Thank you

Pwede naman concurrent po yan , let your prospective employer apply the visa is an opportunity and early adoption for you once you get invited and lodged a PR visa later on.

You can apply for a PR visa while in 482 too , check with the employer if willing sila to sponsor you for a 186 visa in the future ito yung employer sponsored PR pathway aside from considering other options to apply for 189/491/190 (for 190/491 onshore you are limited to applying to other states as an interstate applicant.) whichever you are eligible.

Can i know which occupation are they asking you to get assessed?

Hi, they wanted me to be assessed for an Architect occupation but I was already assessed by Vetassess for the Architectural Draftsperson role. I think, due to our academic structure, almost impossible to get a positive assessment from AACA for the Architect role.

Having an offer for a 482 is already a great win. Not everyobody gets that. But yeah, once you agree to that, your circumstance and eligibility to 190 or 491, will also change since you will eventually become onshore.

Each state has their own so-called streams to nominate applicants for 190 or 491 visa. The most typical distinction is between onshore and offshore. There are states that do not accept applicants residing in a different state. So, you better check each state requirement for more information, albeit the FY is almost done and most of them are closed for new applications already.

For 189 though, you can always pursue that onshore or offshore. It's just a matter of getting the invitation. Pero sobrang rare recently ng 189, but still having that chance is still better than nothing.

In addition to being on 482, another PR pathway for you opens up, that is 186. That's another employer's sponsored PR visa but only after 2yrs I believe you become eligible.

I suggest you study your options carefully and go for the pathway that is aligned with your goals and target timeline. All the best! 🙂

Alam ko VIC during my time couple years ago, but I'm no longer updated if that's still the case. You can simply check out each state's requirements on their websites. 🙂

Yes better do your own research as mentioned by @_sebodemacho also as migration can be very erratic and sudden changes are implemented at a short notice.

Most states are closed for new applications, and state allocations are almost depleted this FY.

But no harm in applying pa naman and get yourself ready for the new FY and new requirements.

NSW and VIC are viable most of the time ,followed by WA and QLD. Do check on their states website for more info. It depends pa rin on the occupation, situation and the states requirements, some will require another layer of step aside from EOI . Kaya after reviewing every states requirements - then time to do the compliance work ,apply in all states and all subclasses na eligible ka.

Hello po good afternoon, clarify ko lang po kung yung declaration of Working experience for Victoria State and NSW will differ?

For example, sa VIC po ba pwedeng ideclare yung full working experience (eg, 3 years) and equivalent points (5 pts)

Tapos sa NSW depende po siya sa Skilled Date na binigay sa ACS result letter ( less than 3 years = 0 pts) due to deducted 2 years of ACS.
