Please note that below information is not officially released by Immigration, it is published in AFR newspaper.
A total of 26,000 places (190 and 491) will be given to the states and territories under the 2024-25 state nomination program.
Rest of the allocations, 40,000 places (190, 491, 494) will be used to clear the visa backlog as part of 2024-25 FY.
Queensland 190 allocations reduced from 900 to 600 spots, and 491's are reduced from 650 to 600.
ACT, SA, NT, WA, TAS will see an increase in nomination allocations when compared to 2023-24 FY.
ACT: 1200 to 1800
NT: 650 to 1200
SA: 2300 to 4200
WA: Total of 5000 places under State Nomination Program
TAS: 1200 to 2700
No update on VIC and NSW allocation no's.
if my math is mathing, NSW will have 4,900 state and territory nomination allocations

ACT - 1,800

SA - 4,200
WA - 5,000
TAS - 2,700
VIC - 5,000
NSW - ?
Total: 21,100
26,000 (nomination allocations) - 21,100 = 4,900 for NSW
