• Electrical Engineer for sc190 at 80 / 90 pts, offshore

• Construction Project Manager for sc190 at 80 pts, offshore

• Mechanical Engineer for sc190 at 95 pts, offshore

• Mechanical Engineer for sc491 at 100 pts, offshore

• Production or Plant Engineer for sc190 at 90 pts, offshore

Hi, do we have a list of priority occupations or sector po for QLD?

Also, regarding the settlement fund, okay lang ba dito is one single deposit sa bank or something like that tapos pagkasend mo ng application is ibabalik mo na sa pinaghiraman mo yung show money? Since 15k AUD is like 550k + /- depending sa exchange rate.

Is a competitive occupation din ,only way po to increase your chances is to max out your points matrix and wait for an invite.

I don’t think na may issue with a single deposit into your account , and for the matter of nomination you will sign a settlement fund that you can support yourself during the transition.

Sa nomination stage you need a bank statement proof of funds anytime during nomination approval stage.

You can also provide other cashable entitlements such as pension, leave payments (e.g. i think PAG-IBIG regular or MP2 savings entitlements will qualify for this- once your PR you can withdraw them )

yes, yung sakin deneposit ko ng isang bagsakan lng sa bank. yung balance lng nman titignan nila 🙂

Question po about post-qualification work experience na requirement ni QLD for offshore. From researching online, I read na this is the work experience acquired after your study/degree. So hindi ako mag less 2 years ng work experience unlike sa inassess ni ACS? Tama ba? Sorry naguguluhan lang.

Usually for ICT professionals that were assessed under ACS the deemed skilled date is followed by states gaya ng ACT at NSW

With QLD pls check further with other members here who have gone with the nomination approval.

As ACS specifically mentions this deemed skilled date QLD follows suit for Offshore.

However if your nominated occupation is assessed under an A/B other than ACS , you can follow the related experience after graduation /degree completion date (caveat : other A/B do not mention the deemed skilled date in their outcome letter)

This is subject to states current nomination requirements kindly do check on their website (MQ )once the updated criteria is available .

There will be four streams for the program:

✅ Queensland Graduates

✅ Skilled Workers Onshore

✅ Skilled Workers Offshore

✅ Regional Business Owners

🔥Key changes including: 🔥

⚠ NEW initiative to provide priority for offshore energy workers

⚠ NEW selection process: points are not considered – instead salary (for onshore applicants), additional work experience, superior English, partner skills are considered

⚠ NEW ROI system will be introduced. 1 EOI and 1 ROI per applicant only.

⚠ NEW Skills Priorities List will be introduced

⚠ For 491 SBO stream: pre-existing business has to be outside South East Queensland regions (Ipswich, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba regions will not be considered)

⚠ Queensland Graduates stream: work experience can be different from nominated occupation, as long as is a Skill Level 1 Job.

⚠ Offshore stream: must have at least 5 years work experience in nominated occupation
