Good Day. Just a quick question. My wife and I received an e-mail yesterday from Migration Queensland inviting us to apply for Queensland State Nomination (subclass 190). Once we get invited and proceed to the visa application rounds, I saw that the fee is AUD 4,770.00 My wife will be the main applicant and I will be her dependent. My question is, is the visa fee (AUD 4,770.00) just for my wife, or will it cover me as well since I will be her dependent? Thank you.

Only for the main applicant. Additional payment for each dependents included in the application.

Sorry for the late reply, @hannahesther . Fortunately, my sister-in law helped us with the settlement funds. When we received her remittance, we immediately went to the bank and requested for a bank statement for both my wife and I.

As for the points breakdown,

Age - 25 pts.

English Language Ability - 10 pts.

Level of educational qualification attained - 15 pts.

State / Territory Nomination - 5 pts.

Years of experience in Nominated Occupation overseas within the last 10 years - 15 pts.

Partner Qualifications - 10 pts.

Total = 80 pts.

Hi, @hannahesther! Yeah, I think ok lang, kasi we can say na galing sa liquidated assets yung money, which is technically true naman since may mga niliquidate na assets para sa show money.

By the way, update na rin. We secured the 190 invitation from Queensland last February 20. We immediately uploaded our documents on-hand.

24Feb2025 Applied for NBI clearance. My wife got hers immediately.

11Mar2025 Claimed my NBI Clearance

11Mar2025 Uploaded the NBI clearance, completing our application. Paid for the visa.

22Mar2025 Underwent medical exam (NHSI Aux Makati). For permanent visa applicants, 8,450 pesos per applicant. This includes, blood exams (HIV, Hepa, etc.), X-ray, and medical (doctor's) exam. As per the doctor, they'll send the results to the embassy today, March 24.

We are now just waiting for the visa grant. Keeping our fingers crossed. 😊
