Paano po makakuha ng nomination and skills assessment for tax accountants?

Hi all. I am new here. Manghihingi po sana ng advice kung panu ko mlalaman kung qualified ba ko mag apply for work visa and sponsorship. And also dapat po ba makahanap muna ng employer or need muna magpa assess?

You can review the requirements for the different work visas (189, 190, 491, etc.) in the Department of Home Affairs / Immigration website. Generally, first step is to get a skill assessment and take an English test so you can calculate your points.

If you are talking about 482, 494 (regional), or 186 (https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/employer-subsite/Pages/compare-sponsored-skilled-visa-options.aspx), apply ka muna and hanap employer that offer sponsorship. Check mo yong eligibility if you are qualified. You can use the assessment upon visa application. At the same time, try din mag independent visa like (189, 190, 491), which you can use your assessment. Try to apply via Linkedin, Seek, indeed. Some companies indicate that they offer sponsorship sa job posting, meron din iba na you can ask if they offer sponsorship.

@lunarcat 8yrs of experience po dto sa Pinas and CPA. Hnd ko po sure kung magiging sufficient na ba un or comparable sa AU Bachelor's Degree. Tama po ba hnd ko naman need magpa assess muna bago mag apply apply? Like first step is to seek for an employer na willing mag sponsor?

It's unlikely someone will be willing to sponsor, kasi may local certifications ang accountants in AU. You can still try though. But as back up, you can go the route of skilled independent or nominated visa. Try to read through all of the information on the websites. You can also search some of the guides others have shared here in the forum.
