Big Move but study instead of work, is this allowed? If it is, am I eligible for the domestic fee?

I already have NSW 190 granted but I wanted to pursue a full time post grad study (master's or phd). Basically, am I allowed to use my 190 PR to move to AU but with the intent of studying full time, and have remote work part time? However, the most important consideration with this plan is if I am already eligible for Australian domestic fee instead of international student fee?

Has anyone done this?

As PR, you are already considered local and would pay domestic fees. Even with 491, my kids are not counted as international students.

As PR, you are already considered local and would pay domestic fees. Even with 491, my kids are not counted as international students.

Also, I dont think this part "am I allowed to use my 190 PR to move to AU but with the intent of studying full time" is an issue at all.

You are free to move to AU and proceed with any plans you have in mind since you are already a PR. Just make sure to comply with the nomination condition that you signed with your state which is to generally reside there for a certain period. All the best! 🙂

Oh I see. Clarify lang po, kahit bagong dating pa lang? Sa UK and EU kasi they have like 3 years minimum to be as a resident bago maging eligible for domestic fees. Thanks!

Yup, ang alam ko if the individual specifically has Student Visa, dun sila considered to pay international fees.
