Hey guys, quick one! Does skillselect automatically deduct yung experience mo pag more than 10 years na? E.g, yung isang employment mo is June 2014 to June 2017. Mauupdate ba sya? If ever man maka receive ka ng invite, wala naman ba issue yun sa overclaiming of points given na pasok parin sa 8 years + exp bracket?

Hello, meron bang benefit kung magkahiwalay yung EOI ng 190 and 491 for a specific state? Or okay lang yun na nasa isang EOI for both 190/491?

Also, what if mag invite sila for 491 first before 190? Pero I want to wait for 190? Mas okay ba na 190 lang muna yung i-lodge na EOI? Advice please. Thank you.

an invitation is never guaranteed. grab the invitation kung saan ka man unang ma-invite. if na-invite ka for 491 but you want to wait for 190, then you are wasting the 491 invite. if you are planning to wait for the 190, then apply only for the 190.

Yes nilagay ko pa rin nung time na yun. Since pasok sya sa deemed skilled date ng ACS assessment ko.

Thank you. Allowed ba yung multiple applications? Let’s say nainvite ako first sa 491 tapos after some time maiinvite sa 190. Pwede ko ba applyan both?

Meron dito nainvite 491 tapos naglodge. Then after a few months received a 190 invite, subsequently withdrew 491 visa application. Forfeited 491 visa fee. May recommendation din ang DHA when you lodge a skilled visa application to consider withdrawing your remaining EOIs. But it's up to you. Pag 190 talaga gusto, pwede naman.

It just doesn't make sense to "apply for both". Sayang ang pera 4700aud din yun.

The new visa grant will always override the current visa in general. But 190 overriding 491, hindi yata yan pwede. I could be wrong pero baka pwede, ewan natin.

What others are also advising is to submit all in separate EOIs for more chances ,which is a great tip. You will probably end up getting invited sa state which has that nomination spot.

Suggestion A -If you plan for 190 first or 491 later -consider lodging both in separate EOIs.

You can consider - SUSPENDING the 491 EOIs for sometime while you wait for 190 invitation to materialise. Maglagay ka lang nang timeline when mo ito gagawin.

Suggestion B- If you are ok either 190 or 491 comes first , -then just let the EOIs be active at all times.

Either the two will cost you time and chances and also chances for others while pursuing personal goals.

If you execute A- you will most likely get 190 first or worst is madedelay yung pagka invite sa 491 but you save yourself on what if mainvite pa pla ako sa 190.

If you execute B- pwedeng 491 mauna , go ahead then 190 darating then dump 190 or vice versa.

If you cooperate with suggestion B it ends here,just lodged which one is received first. Then withdraw the irrelevant EOIs.

If you defect with suggestion B in scenarios below:

Scenario 1) During 491 nomination process -you get a 190 pre-invite.

Possibly you can still do a favour

Save the nomination spot for 491 by withdrawing the nomination application.Apply 190 nomination.Proceed next step- both parties 🥳 will be happy. You have done one person a fair chance.

Scenario 2) During application of visa ,491 gets lodged na then you get 190 pre-invite .

You might do-

1)Possibly you might waste money:

Forego your visa fees for 491 , go ahead with the 190 nomination and lodge visa then withdraw irrelevant EOIs after that.

2)Save the 491 visa fees ,waste a 190 pre-invite

dump 190 pre-invite then withdraw irrelevant EOIs.

With scenario 2 - either 190/491 visa fees or pre-invite is at risk na masacrifice. ☺️

Hehe possible cases lang mga nasa taas, they might not even happen.

Nagkamali po ako sa claiming ko sa EOI ko, dahil sa date na nalagay sa EOI. like December (09/12/2023, September (12/09/2023) po yung na lagay kong Month. Dbale na miscalculated ko po yung years of experience ko ng minus 0.5 months to make it 5 years.
Now, hindi ko din po na updated yung EOI ko sa latest job ko now na almost 10 months na po?
Na invite po ako sa 189 and submitted the application, magrant po ba yun or hindi?

It happened na po , you can leverage yung current experience at the time of invitation to offset yung miscalculation sa EOI.

I do think is a mistake but may way out naman jan, a mistake is taken as it is as long as you disclose it and will not be a grounds of refusal as long as you do the steps to correct it.

During EOI stage -you can’t update any dates once nainvite na.

You can maintain the dates during lodgement then lodge a form to correct the mistake (Form 1023?)

Or correct the dates entry during lodgement na and attach (Form 1023 to explain the EOI mismatch)

Attach it in the application stating the error during EOI submission.

The 10 months you are saying is at the current employment episode? Does it not automatically update your points ? It will count 5 years and 9.5months consideration is during the invitation - the experience is locked in.

5 years is still met, just provide additional evidence for the last 10 months to be counted.

Thanks. Na lodge ko na po yung application. Yung form 1033 paano po yun e attach?

Also, yung job ko po now is new company na 10 mos. pero same roles and responsibilities.

Form 1023 - notification of incorrect answers you can find it in immi under forms meron din yan
