Which place is better for CPA's - Adelaide or Sydney?

Hi Everyone!

Need your advise as to which city has better opportunity for Philippine CPAs - Adelaide or Sydney? Also, saan po din ang mas maganda magstart ng family (just married this year) and better cost of living between these two cities?

Currently, these are our option on our migration application to choose from. Perth and Melbourne is closed/suspended for accountants already. Any inputs, advises and opinions are much appreciated. Maraming salamat po in advance.

magulo to ah hahahaha. pag accountant ka sydney dapat pero pag pamilya adelaide. teka, ano ba yang cost of living???? hehehehe

@mac23 - didn't know Perth and Melbourne is closed/suspended for accountants... Are you talking about 190 ba?

@reysistkant... aside po kasi sa opportunity sa pagiging accountant, consider ko din ang sa pamilya. Anyway, mas maganda yata ang suggestion na sa sydney 🙂. Yun cost of living un monthly na gastusin sa housing, transportation, food & utilities.

Ok sana melbourne rin for accountants. Mukhang ma divert lahat to NSW ang next wave of accountants ah.

Dito ako SYD. share ko lng, go for temp jobs (casual work) A/P or assistant accountant or bookkeeper

Yan tinitira ko eh pero ala pang favorable news.

hayst. I really considering applying a course sa book keeping dito, na may OZ recognition.

any toughts? pero mahal idol (7k AUD)

Hi @SYD_CPA , update update tayo, same situation here. I am now in Sydney and looking for a job. External audit lang ang experience pero gusto ko na magprivate e! Kaso madalas hanap nila ay CA/CPAA at may local experience. Parang ang best bet ko lang ay audit firms uli.. Pero as of now, no luck pa din! Haaayyyy

Kung saan ka makahanap ng magandang work un ang better place. Pero kung paramihan ng vacancy syempre sa Sydney pero marami ka rin kalaban sa pagapply.

I knew coming here would be a risk din naman talaga. Anyway have had yourself assessed sa CPA austraila.

I did and I am now at an assoiate member ( Thank God na cover lahat ng accounting subjects ko sa pinas)

3 years pa ang full recognition and per sem ang professional subjects. (6 cya in total at 990 aud per subject)
