danyan2001us @lifenaval ..kaya if your elucky enough to have a very good employer like in my experience.....pero consider it first na if bago ka dating dito sa OZ medyo mahirap ang maghanap ng work
Newleaf2014 @dreamprayhard84 - yes, nag declare kami about my daughter's previous illness. Buti pa ang St. Luke's mas organized and helpful; sa Nationwide hindi naman nanghingi ng ganun even when they are aware of the declaration. Therefore, better service talaga sa St. Luke's, so take note!
dreamprayhard84 @Newleaf2014 a sa side na pala ng clinic nila yung problem pinabalik pa tuloy kayo tapos pinasa na nila yung result na hindi kasama yung certificate from doctor ng anak nyo kaya si au immi na yung nag notice sainyo na need ng other documenta and additional test, kahit kinulit nyo na sila hindi padn sila aware sa concern nyo parang money maker pala yung clinic nila. God bless to all.
Newleaf2014 @dreamprayhard84 - I would say "less efficient" sila than St. Lukes not so much on the income side of things. Ergo, if you have less time before your intake, sa St. Luke's na kayo pumunta para mabilis!
God bless to all.
lifenaval @danyan2001us ok, since i don't have any idea on the expenses there. would you mind stating some like mga necessity for example rent, food, transportation etc. para at least meron idea if its ok ๐
danyan2001us @lifenaval ...ok bro/sis rough estimate lang......rent 620$ month (so 150/week), utilities (gas, electricity, water)- 100$ 3 months, food and fare- 200$week, internet-60$ month, phone-60$.......ok yan ang more or less rough estimate for me and my wife....ilan ba kayo?
lifenaval @danyan2001us dalawa kami, ako and de facto. thanks for giving some ideas. what about sa work, mahirap ba makakuha pag student?
markier87 Hi all! We are leaving soon for Perth. Any guidelines or tips on pre-departure? Like sa NAIA pa lang, pagdating sa Oz, what to bring, how to open accounts, etc. Thanks in advance for your answers. ๐
danyan2001us @lifenaval ...i would be honest with you bro...mahirap bro dahil unang una wala ka pa local experience at pangalawa limited ang time mo to work.....unless masters ang course mo or ng partner mo so unlimited work rights ka...kaya mas maigi marami ka connections at support group....pero if di ka naman mamimili meron din namang mga odd jobs...yon nga lang pa swertihan bro pero so gfar sa mga nakilala ko dito sa forum na mga students dito....if i'm not mistaken lahat naman yata ay nakakita ng work....
danyan2001us @markier87 ...bro paglapag namin sa melbourne isang bagay lang ang tinanong sa amin ng custom personnel kung may bitbit ba daw kami na polboron hehe....bawal kasi dito bro ang mga producst galing labas na may halong gatas.....anyway two things that you need to perform when you arrive in perth.....open a bank account and apply for TFN (tax file number) gagamitin mo yang tfn in your applications...hahanapin yan ng employer mo
markier87 @danyan2001us okay kuya dan! I will take note of that. If you have connections in Perth, I would appreciate if you introduce me to them. ๐
danyan2001us @markier87 ....my close friend and fellow bro in couples for christ is working in perth particularly in a mining site....i will check with my other contacts.....basta ang tip ko at first wag na wag mamimili ng trabaho or opportunity....if you can have the local experience then you can start re aligning work opportunities according to your field of expertise.....
markier87 @danyan2001us cool! I was a YFC member din before. Yes kuya, alam ko po yan. I also did odd jobs when I was Korea so no problem po with that. ๐
danyan2001us @lifenaval ...sori for this late reply.....i don't want to discourage you pero for anuybody like us na nakastudent visa (kahit na nga mga pr dito) mahirap talaga maghanap ng work kasi ang issue palagi ay ang hinahanap nila na local experience mo.....ang usual na tinatanggap kasi nila ay yong may local experience....anyway ang masuggest ko ay as a start, try not to be choosy when it comes to working opportunities...kahit na odd jobs basta trabaho tanggapin mo....then just like in my case mag 4 years na ako sa company namin....make use of your support system...referral din ang isang maganda na paraan dito para makahanap ng work...some companies like us ang tinatanggap ay yong nirefer ng mga in house workers so mahalaga rin na marami ka friends dito......
