@tin1289 Mahal ang rent ng on-campus accommodation. I prefer off-campus. Or shared house. Hanap ka sa gumtree. 🙂

@amedina ...good point bro .for us since we started here in 2010, we right away dwell on house sharing since we save a lot especially when it comes to monthly rent plus the utilities.....one downside though is that you can't choose your housemates. but on the other hand, you always have the option to transfer or leave if you are not in the same vibes with ur mates ( in reality it is not always easy to transfer since first, you need to look for housemates to share the expenses then second, you need to pay one month advanced and one month deposit if ever you decide to rent a whole house)...IMHO

@tin1289 why not ask the help of your housing services dept. Try to ask if meron. I approached them upon arriving in Perth and they drove me around to 3 possible accommodations. Less hassle siya for 1st timers. 🙂

With regards sa cost.. Siempre off campus..

I suggest you weigh in or check if your accom is near public transport.. Or within how many minutes walk from the school..or any suburb centre so u can easily look for jobs.. U can check with maps i suppose.. Hehe what school? are you living in victoria? U can check with ptv.vic.gov.au

Hi! I'm planning to take diploma of nursing and aged care certificate. But i am a registered nurse here in phils. My mother and siblings are already permanent residents in adelaide. Natatakot ako baka di ma-grant visa ko(getting too negative) sabi ksi nila if you're going to study in AU dpt higher than your previous study to prove na genuine student ka.
