Different job roles for skills assessment

Hi po. Meron po ba sa inyo na magkakaiba yung roles for the duration of their employment pero nagkaroon ng positive assessment?

I feel kind of concerned sa pagfile ng assessment because of different roles I had. Unlike kasi yung iba nakikita ko, developers na sila from graduation.

Just to give a background, ito yung profile ko, starting from the most recent experience:

5 years - Business Analyst

3 years - Data/Incident Analyst

2 years - QA/Test Analyst

My qualification is ECE, Section 1 school and also passed PRC board exam.

For the skills assessment I am planning to nominate ICT Business Analyst and ICT Systems Analyst. May chance kaya ako magkaroon ng positive assessment?

Yes. I got a positive assessment. I also graduated ECE but my nominated occupation is Software Engineer. I was required to send an RPL by ACS

Thank you, RPL, you mean a different assessment pathway from ACS which is Recognition of Prior Learning?

Did they require it from you after you sent the initial lodgement for skills assessment?

I tried with the General Skills Pathway first then after 1 or 2 months, they asked me to send RPL

Hello, nagkapositive assessment ka ba muna after weeks na prinovide ni ACS then bigla ka nirequire ng RPL?

ECE rin kasi ako from Sec1 school with PRC rin pero ICT Support Engineer yung occupation ko. Meron na akong positive assessment, Bachelors but Minor in Computing.

sorry correction pala, hindi pala ako nirequire ng RPL. Yung wife ko yung nirequire ng RPL since ang course niya is BS mathematics and ang occupation niya is Software engineer.

Consistent yung job role mo as ICT Support Engineer? I mean all employments, same role?

Hi! Same educational background tayo. In my case, iba iba ang title. ICT Security Specialist ang nominated occupation ko pero I have titles like Customer Service Engineer, TAC Engineer, Systems Engineer. What's important is what's in the job description. If you can, highlight the job duties that are aligned with your nominated occupation. I did this by submitting the JD to HR when I requested for the COE. Out of all my previous employers, only one had to put their own job description, the rest had someone look at them and approve before issuing the COE. And yes, positive naman ang result ng assessment ko.

Hi question po I'm also a BS Mathematics graduate ACS is required me to submit RPL cause hindi daw na meet ung educational requirements. Did your wife got positive assessment and points for educational qualification?

Yes, related sa Software Engineer yung lahat ng work ko

Partner points po yung sa wife ko sa ang requirement lang niya is suitable skill assessment.

Hi. Tama po ba ang intindi ko na kapag positive ang result ng RPL galing sa ACS, hindi na kailangan mag enroll ng Skills Assessment? Sorry sa mababaw na tanong. kakapanood kasi ng youtube, iba iba kasi sinasabi :neutral:

Hi po. This is the result of the RPL (got positive result naman with remaining years of experience. I am BS Math from section 1 univ. I am confused regarding my qualifications, can I claim ba yung Bachelors degree from another institution of recognised standard?

Hi po, to be honest I'm not sure po. Better to ask a migration agent. There is usually a clause there in the result that indicates how they see your qualification like this po:

Your qualifica􀤘on has been assessed as follows:

Your <course> from <this school> completed >date>has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree witha Major in compu􀤘ng.

My wife, who also graduated BS Math doesn't have this. Good thing for us hindi namin siya kelangan.

Not sure po kc initial application ko was Skill Assessment but was informed by the agent to do RPL 🙂

Do you have an agent po who helped you with the RPL form? BS Math din ako from Section 2 university with Minor in Computer Science but still required to do RPL 🙁

Hi @BradFeet nglog pa dn nmn ng EOI si wife mo dba?...so that you can claim points kc you have to be on the same visa subclass to claim points correct?..
