New occupations added to NSW list for skilled Australia visa

may pharmacist ba dito? hehe. i'm just glad that "pharmacist" is back sa SOL. naalis kasi nung 2010 pero binalik din this july. my docs were already assessed by Australian Pharmacy Council, OK na ung 7.5 IELTS requirement ko so next step is to take the Php70K worth exam dito sa Makati.

I checked all the state requirements for regional sponsorship and I think all of them are requiring that you have this specific amount of fund to qualify....sa GSM SOL naman walang Primary Teacher :-| sigh..although my bachelor degree is Secondary Teacher but I have only one year experience on it.....ano pa kayang ibang pathway na walang required na fund? Naku, lumagtaw na naman utak ko, I should be concentrating on the first step which is IELTS....but of course the purpose of IELTS is to apply for a visa. If I can't find a suitable visa for me, why do I need to take IELTS, di ba? :-| just a thought....Cheers!

syempre di ka muna mag take ng IELTS kung wala naman applicable visa sa skilled mo. I advise you mag pa initial assesment ka muna kaya sa MARA agent mas kabisado nila ang details sa visa. try mo libre lang naman yun eh. mag email ka sa kanila at padalhan ka ng form. cheers

@gemini23, ma'am kung Skilled Visa ang habol niyo mas mainam siguro inominate niyo na lang yung Secondary Teacher at least well justified siya...Mababa makukuha niyo points sa work experience pero bawi na lang kayo sa Age, Educational Background at IELTS ...aabot pa kayo sa 65 points niyan 🙂

@LokiJr it's like an equivalency exam for pharmacists. After that, I can now apply for visa. If granted, I will be undergoing trainings sa chemist/drugstore pero may mga pag-aaral pang kasama.

In our case, before I can take the exam, dapat may IELTS muna ako. I had 2 attempts before I met Australian Pharmacy Council's 7.5 band score reqt. Ang taas! T'was 7 lang nung 1st take ko.

@bumblebenny..try sa fil.com.au smay online application mayroong pharmacist doon na nasa aust na at nagtra training for pharmacist..maybe you can ask her about some of your problem....
