Accommodations: Remarking?

@joeyeoj Not entirely, pero ayoko kasi magsisi kapag kinapos na ako sa pts and nag lapse na ang six week window ko. Hahaha! Magpaparemark na lang ako to be sure, di pa kasi ako nagpapa assess sa EA so hindi ko pa alam kung magkukulang ba points ko or what, and if hindi naman issue yung pts after my assessment, there's no harm in getting a higher score diba? Hahaha! Gusto ko lang sana humingi ng idea sa iba what are the odds na tumaas pa score natin since 7.5 is relatively mataas na 🙂

oh well. nakakainis yung 0.5 na lang sana haha.

Hello everyone. WE just got the IELTS results today. Here are my hubby's scores:

R - 8.5

L - 7.5

W - 7

S - 6.5

Go or nogo for remarking? How and where do we start? Or mas mabuti bang PTE-A na lang?

@towbee halos pareho ng score pero both W and S ko is 6.5, if confident ang hubby mo na mas mataas dapat sa 6.5 ang speaking nya eh you go for remarking... as for me I am planning to take PTE-A na lang

sa mga balak mag take ng PTE-A, use PTE2015 sa promo code.. bawas din 25usd sa babayaran.. credits para sa nag post about sa promo code 🙂>-

@mugsy27 : Thank you for your reply. And thank you for the promocode! We are also looking into taking PTE-A, pero try muna namin magparemark (fingers crossed). Sabay pala kayo ni hubby nag-IELTS. In the meantime, prepare na kami ng CDR. Nakita ko sa timeline mo plan mo magsubmit sa EA this week. Magfafast track ka ba? Anong nominated occupation mo? =)

Sa mga nagparemark na, how soon niyo nareceive yung official test results form na kelangan isubmit for remarking?

@cacophony: I think you can try. Kami, susubukan rin namin magparemark. PHP3642 yata ang equivalent ng GBP60 ngayon.

@towbee good luck sa remarking.. yes balak ko mag lodge within this week... hintay ko lang ung TRF galling sa British Council..yes mag fast track ako sayang kc oras hehe.. Electronics Engineer nominated occupation ko po 😃

@mugsy27 : yes, tinuloy na namin. Keeping fingers crossed na sana um-OK. Nakapaglodge ka na ng EA assessment? We are still working on the CDR. Haha

Nagparemark ako ng Writing on Aug 31. Nag email ang IDP on Sept 19 na narelease na daw and results. Initially

W 6.5

S 7.

Wait ko pa na mapadala dito province. Tumaas kaya? Suspense naman

I've been looking for success stories re IELTS remarking. Got my result today and my scores are: L- 8.5, R-8.5,-6.5, S-7. I feel like I did good naman during the Sept 15 exam. I've sent an email sa BC asking them about the process and they said it takes 6-8 weeks for the result to be available. But nabasa ko din dito yung iba mabilis lang naman. I'm still thinking if I'll go ahead w/ the remarking ba or just retake the exam. Kaya lang super stressful na. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated 🙂

assess mo muna ang essay at letter mo nung exam.. gaano ka kaconfident na it should be 7.0, if buo ang loob mo na it deserved a 7.0 score.. then go ahead for remarking.. also given na hndi ka naghahabol ng oras..

if naghahabol oras, like dahil sa age, occupation ceiling, etc.. tapos hndi kpa confident sa ielts essay at letter mo, i suggest take PTE na lang, since yung price ng remarking halos half n ng PTE exam.. tapos mabilis pa results

65, equivalent score of 7.0 in ielts, is achievable in PTE.. take the mock exams and a lot a month of self review..

kung may pera ka, take remarking and pte.. hehe.. GB

@Beeycon ipa-reassess niyo po lahat ng para pag may changes marerefund mo ung binayad mo sa remarking.

Kung ganyan kataas scores mo, sa PTE mas mataas ka for sure. Agree ako kay @Captain_A
