1)Nominations updates regarding allocation usage are regularly updated each week (Monday)
2)Chances of Invitation after meeting Priority Attributes
Applicants with Orange + Attributes are expected to be invited within the next 6 months after lodging an ROI
Orange applicants in 491 (no definitive answer if can be invited and it depends on demand and supply)
Orange applicants for 190 (can be invited in a couple of weeks)
Gold Pass holder (within 10 minutes you can get invited upon submission) 🤝
3) Invitation rounds (Day of the week) are held every week on a Thursday and invites are sent out for 491 (10-20 invites) and 190 (40-50) pro -rata for the whole year.
4)1 Nomination = 1.5 visa application , visa backlogs are expected to grow a little bit compared to last year.
5)ROIs are not assessed by anyone in Migration Tasmania but are ranked by the system automatically,and only the most competitive are invited
6)Withdrawing an ROI to create a new one won’t affect your Q or chances if you think you gain more priority attributes as when you had your first ROI
7)Skilled Employment -TAS is looking at matched duties within a role in ANZCO
,at least 70% matched for skilled applicants and 40-50% matched for graduates
8)Tas has limited allocations the program aims to maintain long term skilled workers giving more emphasis for those who already established skilled employment
9) OSOP pathway is closed all year round last year, this year will set aside allocations and conduct a round through the EOI in Skill Select ,more info to be provided prior the round .
10) No interstate pathway is available
11) Nomination Obligations
For Onshore - 2 years after nomination (not after visa grant)
For Offshore -2 years after you arrive in TAS
12) Expediting nomination application can be done if your visa is expiring in a couple of weeks (2 weeks at least) ,you can send them an email.
