Hi, my company submitted my nomination two weeks ago, and I still haven't received any feedback. How long did it take for you to receive your nomination? I'm based in the QLD metro area.

Hi! My employer submitted my nomination on October. Still no approval. Our visas expire this March. I am getting worried honestly

Hello- 186 DE here. Sydney metro area.

Sinabay yong visa application + nomination last 28 August 2024 ko, cleared medical 1st week of September, wala pa balita until now. Meron ako nabalitaan na sabay yong nomination approval and grant. Yong workmates ko is after 16 months na approve yong visa. Mabagal si 186.

Eto yong timeline sa pinaka last na approve samin.

Do they prioritize applications for rural australia? There's one group in reddit na i joined and several received their grants within 3-6mos, but they're all from rural australia. Anyway, I'm applying for 186 TRT in the next few weeks pero confused when I'll exactly be eligible. Came here Jan 2023 under the subclass 400 visa and as soon as on shore, applied for 482 for the same company. Have received the grant March 3, 2023 but my official start date with the company is March 27 because it took a while for HR to move me across. Pero i was already working for them since arrival. So wondering if I should follow my grant date or official start date for the 2yr count.

This is very promising para sa situation namin!

We just don't want the hassle of exiting Australia when our visa expires so the answer is we lodge our visa kahit waiting pa for the nomination approval. Thanks for sharing this!

No po. Eto yong latest grants sa company namin. Meron din isa kasabayan nong Dec lodger.

Waiting time is 16-18 months, not sure if DE or TRT tho. But I think yong 16 months is DE, nong nag ask ako.

Hi. Sorry ngayon lang naka reply.

Nomination was granted mga 2nd week of March. Saktong sakto bago mag expire work visa namin. And we were able to lodge our 186 visa 24March.

Same day we were given a request for medical.

3April we had our medical done in Bupa-Dandenong.

31May we received our grant.

PR na kami <3

Thanks to everyone in this forum. From work visa to navigating through the OEC process, and now finally PR na.

Sana yung mga hindi pa na grant, kayo na naman bigyan ng visa grant ni immigration.

Same here po. No update pa din saken. Just uploaded a new AFP 10 days ago proactively kase pa expire na saken next month.

Di ni require yong NBI saken nong nag apply ako. Pero I had it sana, na expire na yata siya.. I will get lang if nirequire as additional doc.
