Hello, I am a CPA here in the Philippines, my husband is a website developer. Parehas kami included ang occupation sa Skillis Occupation List. We are considering migrating to Australia for better opportunities and better education for our child.

Question, once mag-grant and 189 visa, may due date or validity ba kung kelan ka dapat mag-move sa Australia?

Hi masasabing meron usually may span of 1 year from the date of grant yan yung normal ,pero may iba binibigyan sila 5 years before initial entry.

I think mas normal/usual ung 5 years validity to settle with 1 year first entry condition (sort of like to activate it). May isang case pa lang ako nakita dito so far na grant na may condition to enter so soon (just weeks), but then the visa still has a 5-year valid travel period, meaning they can still leave AU within the period if they're not ready to settle yet.

MARA agent here…you’ll be given up to 5 years to move. Tip: don’t just fixate your option to just 189 visa.
