Timeline of Skills Assessment and Visa Grant

Hello PinoyAu!

Me and my spouse submitted our requirements to Vetassess for skills assessment last January 2025 (interior designer and architectural draftsperson, visa 190/491). Is there anyone here who has the same skills as ours? If yes, how long did it take for the assessment and visa grant? For others naman with the same pathway, can you also share the timeline of your grant? Btw, we hired an agency for our application.

skills assessment is not a visa application. you have to be invited to apply for the visa. timeline for invitation is not guaranteed. some people get it, some don't.

Ako, as Archidraft, na invite sa NSW(190) nung dec 2024, lodged eoi sept 2024 with 80pts. Updated Nov 2024 with 90 points. Tingin kong keypoints ng mabilis na pag invite sakin: superior english, skilled partner(same occupation), 6 years exp. Tapos nung time na yun puro SA at NSW ang nag iinvite ng offshore for the occupation. Not sure lang kung may other states na ngayon na nagiinvite offshore for archi draft.

Suggestion ko lang, kung yung points nyo is pasok sa range ng mga naiinvite ng 190, wag na kayo mag eoi ng 491 kasi yun ang unang ibibigay kahit pa pasok sa 190 yung points mo.

Hi. Yes we are aware na skills assessment is different from visa application. I was asking for both skills assessment and visa grant kung gaano katagal ang grant for each. Thanks for the info 🙂

If you're on your computer, you can check my signature for my timeline detail. I started collecting document from Oct 2023(mejo may slight procrastination na nangyari haha) pero Submitted by Sept 2024

naka priority processing pala ako kaya 1 week lang, nakuha ko na yung results ko.

Hi, Good Day! My Wife and I have already lodged the documents for our visa 190 application last March 11, and we'll be undergoing medical sa NHSI makati this saturday. Question ko lang is, after medical, may biometrics scan pa ba sa VFS / Australian Biometric Collection Center sa Makati?

By the way, we got our Invitation from Queensland just this February. We lodged our EOIs for each Australian states last October 22, 2024. 80 points for Architectural Draftsperson. February 05, 2025, we got an e-mail from Queensland inviting us to apply. We submitted our documents February 08, 2025, and got our formal invitation from Queensland on February 20.

Also, hoping na after our medical this friday eh mabilis nalang processing 🙏 Sabi kasi around 11 months yung processing 🙂

About sa medical, wala akong sagot, pero check nyo dito sa link ng thread na 'to.

Depende po yung timeline ng grant eh, kapag yung partner nyo is nasa priority list (medical/teaching) posibleng mabilis ang processing sa inyo. Yung 11 months na nakita nyo, baka yun yung pinaka mabilis na nagrant sa regular processing pero di yun guaranteed sa lahat.

Although, malalaman palang natin kung bibilis or babagal pag nag announce na sila next fiscal year. Baka bago na yung admin ng dha kasi election nila this year

hello everyone, mag ask lng ako, graduate po ako ng bachelor of science in computer engineering...sa acs assessment ko sabi comparable daw sya sa AQF Bachelor Degree with a Major in Information and Communication Technology. Tanong ko lng po, sa EOI ba alin ang ilalagay ko dito sa tanong po? sa baba.

Qualification - Bachelor Degree (Other) po ba or Bachelor Degree in Science?

Course name - Dito po ay kung ano ang natapos ko tama po dba? hndi yon galing kay ACS

Hi, just want to share since same tyo ng selected occupation. Nag apply kmi Vetassess March 2023 then after 17 weeks namin nakuha skills assessment result. Then for visa naman, 17 months from Visa Application to Grant.

All these dates are for reference lang naman at lalo 2023 pa skills assessment namin. Baka iba na timeline nila ngayon.

be consistent with your application (and with everything towards your application). to avoid confusion na din. so kung FN MN yung sa IELTS, ganun na lang din gawin mo for EOI. consistency is the 🔑.
