@gwysh i have read from backthreads that for some they do. Depends on your CO. in any case, just prepare ahead of time. If CO asked for additional info, they'll usually give deadline for submission. Unable to comply with the timeframe, of course, will have an impact on the decision. Just my two cents.

Notes:

with employer sponsored migration agent (SouthernCrossAlliance) and employer sponsored visa fees
with wife as secondary applicant

06-May-2013: Employment Contract offered and Migration Agent assigned

06-25 May-2013: Migration Agent collection of data and information:

Health Insurance cover (we registered for Bupa)
Primary & Secondary Applicant Passport biopage
NSO Marriage Certificate
Primary and Secondary Applicant Resume
Primary Applicant Tertiary Diploma and post tertiary training certificates
Forms and authorisation letter for migration agent lodgement

27-May-2013: Visa Lodgement at DIAC

27-May-2013: Medicals required (Primary Applicant - Chest X-ray only, Secondary Applicant - Medical Examination for Nurse)

03-Jun-2013: Medicals at St. Lukes Global City

04-Jun-2013: Secondary applicant medicals received and finalised by DIAC

06-Jun-2013: Primary applicant medicals received and finalised by DIAC

12-Jun-2013: Application being processed further

13-Jun-2013: Application approved (457 visa valid for 48 months)

For visa 190, required ba yung proof of funds? Mga atleast how much ba ang funds mo para hnd ma deny visa application mo?bank account ba yung hnihinging proof or counted din sa total funds yung real estate property?thanks

@gwysh, @jengrata - i dont think COs ask for proof of funds... what they normally ask for are supporting documents like payslip, ITR or bank statement to validate that you have actually paid employment, they check that against your COE etc..

but not proof of funds..

atleast from what i've read in this forum.. 😉

@lock_code2004 yes you have a point @gwysh i dig deeper on your question and found out that only student visa is required to show proof of funds to cover tuition and other matters.

"The regulations require international students to show evidence of funds to cover tuition, travel, living costs and school costs... "

@lock_code2004 @ipink binasa ko po ung changes sa visa fees and i dont think affected ang 189/190. Ang nakita ko sa list under new-visa-charges-1july2013/proposed-visa-pricing-table --> "Live" section is special migration, returning residents, partner, parent, child, and other family migration lng ang may changes. I dont know with visit, work or study visa though.

Ask ko nmn po ..kc sabi sakin agent ko ..sory for delay ng visa proces kc may backlog daw pero wait lng daw ..anu po ba ibig sabihin nun

so far wala pa akong nabasa na hiningian ng proof of funds..

but yes, as part of the application, you will need to declare certain amount of money to support your family once you arrived in AU..

you need to declare a certain amount para ma-approve.. iba iba per state, so you need to research.. i think the average is 25k/primary +around 5-10k for additional dependent/s

meron dito dati, pinabago ang declared fund nya, before they approve the SS..

but they did not require proof of funds..but i guess formality lang ito, na you are saying, you won't get goverment/social service assistance as a new migrant..

@kremitz They just want you to declare that, yes, you can support yourself as well as your dependants for at least three months. You just need to say an actual fact. Like in my case, dineclare ko na may access ako sa ganitong amount dahil may mga properties etc ek ek naman na pwedeng ipagbili.

Wala pa din ako nabasa na nanghingi ng proof of funds, so far.
