I'm prepping to send out my EOI for next cycle on Oct.7.
There's still a roadblock ahead as the invitations are now apparently limited especially for ICT.
Hopefully, I get over that hurdle as well. π
So far, it's been a smooth (but pocket-busting) ride to my PR Visa. hehehe</blockquote>
hi @mhej π
I've read from one of your comments that you have a 4-year work exp assessed by ACS, I just want to know if all were counted as years when you're considered skilled, I mean no 2yrs deduction (per deeming date new ruling). Were you able to claim 5pts for your work exp?
Hope to hear from you. Thanks in advance π</blockquote>
Well, actually,my agent did the claiming for me. May deduction ako na 2 years. So in my mind, dapat 0 points ako for work experienced. If I was the one logging my application, I'd probably just claim for 65 points. Which to me, still ups my chances of getting an invitation.
Pero my agent claimed for 70 points. I asked her about it, and she said, it should be okay to claim for 70 points kasi total work experience naman daw counts. Hindi na ako nakipagtalo. I'm paying her bucks to do her job, and so far, she hasn't done anything to make her lose my trust. Besides, I'm sure I'm not the first client she has managed and she has loads of experience handling PR Visa Applications.
So to answer your question, yes. I claimed for 70 points. π
